Thinking Blogger Award
![]()
While checking in on my favorite sites and blogs on my reader last night, I discovered that Richard over at A Quiet Watercourse had nominated me for a Thinking Blogger award. Thanks, Rich, for the generosity of spirit to add me to that list!! Richard’s thoughtful blog is always inspiring and I enjoy the read there. (I just want to note the cool description he added about me and this blog, “Imagine you are Neo, the words ‘Wake up Neo, the Matrix has you’ appear on your screen. Meet the woman doing the typing, Angela’s blog is truly eye and mind opening.” Wow!) Ever so humbly I am always amazed that people out there not only read my blog but GET IT!!
The award is a way to pass on ‘blog memes‘ over the Internet and I think it’s a great idea, especially when it involves blogs and writers one knows and respects rather than simple mass linking/spam which I know many sites do as well. In researching the award I already happened on many other great blogs and I didn’t find one who wasn’t happy to get this award. You can check out all the backlinks on Technorati. It’s literally all over the world now. However part of the deal is now I nominate five other blogs, pass it on, and so forth. Such a dilemma – how on earth do I pick five favorites?? Already my blogroll is so overloaded I started having to add them to my extra links page. Plus my reader is bursting at 96 sites and still growing. So to all my blogging colleagues, if you find your blog anywhere on my site, know you ARE one of my favorites, but for this award I will name the five that have most recently made me think, in no particular order. (BTW, Rich, you’d have definitely been on this list had you not already had the honor!
)
On the other hand if you don’t care to be involved with this award/link exchange/blog meme, - no hard feelings, eh? You just made me think, is all.
A Personal Tao – Casey Kochmer continually reminds me of the Tao and the Way of Life. Always calming and thoughtful, I look forward to his posts.
Between Both Worlds – Kingsley Dennis never disappoints with his views on emerging technologies, alternative subject matter and ‘our conscious evolution.’ Intelligent, well-informed and timely.
Occult of Personality – A focused and introspective esoteric researcher, Greg is very involved with the eso-research community and has continued to be a reliable source of information on the occult in today’s world, its many faces and concerns.
Through the Looking Glass – Todd Campbell’s excellent eso-research also keeps me up to date with that subject matter and the current thoughts floating around the websphere, not to mention his thorough and thoroughly entertaining collection of links.
Waking the Midnight Sun – Cadeveo, with a seemingly firm grasp on spiritual discernment, is another intelligent point of view on eso-research, conspiracy, alternative history and science and other fascinating subjects.
Should you choose to participate in this meme, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging.

Thanks for linking me and congratulations for being nominated for the Thinking Blogger award. I’d second that in a heartbeat!
Peace.
thanks how could I not smile for your wonderful words. I appreciate it very much A.V.
Someday we do need to sit back and just chat when I next pass thru Hawaii. Our plans did get delayed a bit, right now the Tao seems to be swirling me to the four corners area of the world for a few months or so. Not sure where I will be, I am literally homeless at this point (on purpose) and just wandering with the family, meandering between friends homes and camp spots and such and exploring.
love back to you and family. I will touch base later when I can actually write online for more than 5 minutes.
