Surfing the Tao

There is a quiet place, within yourself, away from the storm. In the center of the whipping winds and stinging rain, there is sunlight, peace and tranquility.

This world, and often this blog, is often full of the terrible side of life – the things people should know about, don’t really want to know about, might want to think about and could benefit from being aware of…but also could suffer from, might be anguished by, become fearful of, or worry about.

In the center of all that, I want to remind myself and others, is a place of serenity. Of Knowing. Of a warm, all-encompassing and comforting love. It is there. At the center of all our atoms is the vacuum, that which binds and connects all things. But we must all participate in the act of finding it. At the very least we must recognize it is there and still the mind, to prepare our awareness. To create a place within ourselves for that quiet feather to land.

This can be very difficult, or it can be amazingly simple. We alone control our bodies, and our reactions towards the outer world. If we don’t – well, go back and read some of the things from my second paragraph. Yes, there are agendas, energies and devices being set against our peace of mind. But they are not our god. Our spirits have much, much greater powers than these.

Awareness is the first step. Then there are things we can do to foil them, to fight that battle. The armor is there. Find it and put it on. Go back and read the old masters. They knew this enemy. This type of struggle is exactly what they were referring to.

Enlightenment can come in a day; even in a minute, a second. Or it can come long and painfully, after much suffering. Just ask Buddha.

The Way can be lined with annoyances and unscrupulous people. But it is always there, ready to receive, ready to heal, ready to teach. Just ask Lao Tzu.

Love is our ultimate weapon. The energy we radiate back out into the world, even as we are bombarded with unimaginable atrocities and negativity, is what will change our reality. Just ask Jesus.

It’s only as hard as we think it is. We only have as much power as we allow ourselves to have. For that matter, the dark side only has as much power as we allow it to have.  Just ask Yoda.

We are all bubbles of energy that radiate far outside our physical bodies, and interact with our reality; a feedback loop of information going in and out. Which information will we choose to receive, which shall influence us? And which shall we choose to release back out into the world?

Follow your heart, not the programmed knee-jerk reactions of your world gone mad. Take back what is rightfully yours. Peace of mind. Harmony. Start with yourself. Many will follow; meanwhile, just stay strong. Stay fiercely focused. We are poised for the most incredible journey we can imagine. Yes, – amidst the chaos of these days, is a bright and wonderful future, hiding there in the center of it all. Waiting for us to see it.

These are not pipe dreams. It can and indeed will happen. The question only remains, who will join me on this Great Journey? Who will be there to guide me when I fall down?

• Pele is on the move out here. The vog is getting really bad. And in another unprecedented event, Kilauea is releasing steam from what is being called juvenile water, which has never been seen before anywhere on the planet.

• Saturn storm has hurricane-like features. “Massive whirling vortex” has scientists perplexed. Really? How about taking a note from Nassim Haramein and the Power of Spin?

• And on that note, Pi in the Sky telescope captures massive gamma ray burst which originated some 7.5 billion light years away. Wow.

• The giant particle accelerator in CERN delays its start up date until July. Meanwhile someone here in Hawaii has filed suit against the project, fearing that a newly-created micro-black hole will slurp up our very existence.

• Interview with Fritjof Capra, author of the Tao of Physics: Quantum particles, the dance of Shiva and “Consciousness is an aspect of life.”

• Army toyed with telepathic ray gun. Brings to mind Project Blue Beam, and the reason I’m putting off commenting on my frustration with the UFO community and the issue of disclosure and religious manipulation, which seems to be contaminated with propaganda and disinformation.

• Supposedly in a period of minimum activity, the Sun has been flaring. See SOHO for more.

• All our favorite NWO peeps recently met to advise the next administration on foreign policy. Got to be sure the torch is passed. One question; how do they know who will be the next administration?

• …Probably because they’re all related. They’ve worked it out long ago, family-style.

• Check out The Thoughts for a cool take on symbology and a graphic comparing the Eye of Horus with a cross section of our brains. I’m down with that.

• Planet X makes the news in Australia. Disasters quadruple over last 20 years. Officials prepare for giant earthquake. Firefighters trained for UFO contact. Someone knows something they’re not telling us.

• First the bees, then the bats and the rabbits; now the starfish. When I hear a dolphin say, “So long and thanks for all the fish,” I’m packing my towel.

• Had a nice day at the beach today following days and days of stormy weather here after a ‘Kona low‘ hit the state. Check out some photos of the damage. Felt kind of like the phantom hurricane we were supposed to have in back in August. Blizzards on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, flash floods on Maui (though some still found a way to have fun – click on “Maui’s kind of couch surfing” at CNN video), power outages, school closings, disaster declaration and high surf that washed away all the sand at several of our favorite spots. Glad to finally see the sun again, though even today it’s still windy.

• I understand the Northwest also suffered similar weather-related disasters last week, as did Australia. In Ireland, surfers defied unusually giant waves for the ride of a lifetime. And I’m crying hurriquake again in Fiji, which got hit with a cyclone and a 7.8 earthquake.

• Here’s a PDF article about HAARP and weather warfare, “Beware the US military’s experiments with climatic warfare”, warns the author. I’m also in the middle of Jerry Smith’s book Weather Warfare. It’s a doozy.

• Very interesting video of Ron Eglash, an ‘ethno-mathmetician’, discussing fractal patterns in African villages. I cited his work in my book as an example of possible evidence that we have been unconsciously processing fractals as a species for a very long time, and perhaps a renewed awareness might help us in our present consciousness-raising endeavors. Seriously – fractals are super-cool and have a lot to teach us about our reality.

• If you’re following the current economic crisis, you might like to read this recent article in Der Spiegel, “The Dollar Nosedive”. It explains a heck of a lot. Then read this article by Ron Paul, “The End of Dollar Hegemony” and you’ll understand why we need to be concerned when oil starts being traded in currencies other than dollars, as Venezuela has done and now Iran.

• In that spirit I wonder about articles like this one about creating alternative or regional currencies; kind of an interesting idea. Except, of course, when the ‘government’ steps in and confiscates all your gold and silver. The Liberty Dollar people are up in arms. I suppose that might hurt their plans for the Amero.

• Genetically modified insulin, anyone? How about a flu shot at the airport?

• Pretty cool flash video from Scott Creighton about how the Giza pyramids align with the belt of Orion.

My surfboard is woven of millions of tiny threads of wisdom, cemented by the love with which I am gratefully surrounded. Without it I could not withstand the endless pounding of the waves – ultra-strangeness in the world, as well as in my own life. My toes grab hold, the wax which is my faith keeps them from slipping…and yet, the sharp edges of the reef beckon, and these shores are rocky. Surfer’s hell, they call it. An apt phrase, some days.

The focus it takes to stay upright and balanced is not easy, especially as the noose tightens. And the sharks are circling. (thanks for the warning, Cadeveo) But what choice do we have? We must remain, trapped in this physical drama, until the ending unfolds. And yet there is no reason for fear, at all. For those hungry for more insight, check out this great discussion between two of my favorite thinkers, William Henry and Daniel Pinchbeck, at YouTube. Or how about an article on the New Pyramid Age by Phillip Coppens? Perhaps a thoughtful entry on 2012 at The Cleaver, or an insightful word on humans as transmitters by Kingsley. One thing these many minds seem to agree on: the coming transformation will be fully realized only as a result of the work we do within ourselves. It’s an inner revolution, perhaps aided by galactic alignment, cosmic rays and/or altered states – but it won’t be televised. This is a very difficult realization for many people – there can be no excuses, and no shifting the workload. We all must take responsibility, and it starts today, with love and being true to yourself; I know for myself, it can be very, very difficult indeed. And yet in the depths of my spirit, I know it is a task I can’t put off. Our future depends on it.

Our planet is shouting out hints as to our present state with dire emphasis. Must we cry hurriquake, again and again? Typhoons lay waste to the Philippines, while earthquakes rattle there as well as Chile and Indonesia, but it seems to be much more than that now. Freak tides and floods are swamping many areas of the globe, including Indonesia, Algeria, Vietnam, England, Brazil, and Oregon, while heat waves and droughts threaten water supplies and infrastructure in Tennessee, Australia, Chile, North Carolina and Georgia. While it may be part of a much larger catastrophic cycle, in our recent history it is not considered par for the course; Reuters reported that weather-related disasters have quadrupled in the past 20 years. Take heed, Planet X scoffers. I recently reread Stalking Wolf’s prophecies about the Night of the Red Sky; take note one of his Second Sign in terms of this shocking garbage news. (And don’t forget the oil spills recently in Russia, San Francisco, the Gulf of Mexico, and Long Island.)

Our financial and economic crises are certainly no fun to contemplate either. Tired of hearing about the North American Union? And yet, Asia is moving towards its own unification too. Remember, political boundaries are irrelevant; economics holds all the power. The Amero is coming. Our dollar is doomed. Again, Cadeveo points out even rappers are flashing Euros in their videos now, as if to say, better get hip and move with the times. There is no escape in entertainment – there’s so much propaganda, so many inside jokes, it only passes for entertainment for ignorant minds. Synchromystics, you know this path. Fantasy worlds, fantasy treasures and fantasy futures; superpowers, superbugs, and superinanity. One to keep us entranced, one to dull our brains – and don’t forget the really far-fetched one to keep us firmly convinced they are only Stories. Somewhere, something evil laughs softly.

The list goes on. Cell phone towers hidden inside religious symbols. (thanks, Through The Looking Glass) Or how about Comet Holmes merely hiding another object? Yellowstone going to blow? Secret fairy tales coming out? In many ways, we are already prisoners of our co-opted reality. The only respite we have is within ourselves. And who are we? Ask Puppetji.

Yet there too, the Powers-that-be seek to control. Mandatory vaccinations, here and there; our food supply is polluted and re-engineered to what end we cannot even imagine. And don’t forget the water, or the air – They haven’t. What enters our being is contaminated from here, there and everywhere.

And if you think our minds and spirits are free – think again. Generations of rigid belief; tradition; complete and total lack of awareness and training and ignorance of our true history, coupled with stubborn egos: for many, there will be no truth. There will be no release, no final answers. Millions – billions, even – are already trapped in Their webs – both spiritual and physical.

Only by disconnecting will we finally heal. Only by giving everything up will we be fulfilled. It seems, only in the loss of all we know will we finally be shown the truth.

And still, I Surf.

After our experience here in Hawaii last month and A Kean Eye’s noted follow-ups on the “hurriquake” phenomenon, just paying closer attention to this synchronous news.

On Friday, Lorenzo blew the roofs off 2000 houses and drove tens of thousands of people from their homes in Mexico, killing three; in Finland, a spectacular “superbolide” meteor lit up the skies; and in the Mariana Islands, a 7.4 earthquake. Also on Friday bizarre weather in western New York, including hail, and a waterspout over downtown Buffalo. Two more large earthquakes today, another one in the Mariana Islands region of 7.1, and a 7.3 in the Auckland Islands, as Hurricane Melissa formed in the Atlantic.

Science Daily reported on Thursday, “Storm quickly grows into Hurricane Lorenzo: Hurricane Lorenzo, after growing from a tropical depression in less than a day, was headed towards Mexico late Thursday.” On September 29 The Roanoke Times reported, “Since Hurricane Humberto exploded rapidly and came ashore two weeks ago…Hurricane Lorenzo blew up with similar haste as Humberto on Thursday…” Reuters reported, “With Lorenzo, the 2007 Atlantic storm season has generated four hurricanes, including Humberto, which startled coastal residents of Texas and Louisiana this month by unexpectedly strengthening into a hurricane before landfall.”

The illness-causing “meteor” hit Peru September 15, a day after Hurricane Humberto “exploded”, and three days after an 8.4 earthquake rocked Indonesia. A list of this year’s hurricanes can be found here, big earthquakes here, and here’s a seismic monitor.

Global warming caused by fossil fuels…or maybe Planet X?…Weather wars or HAARP?…All of the above?…Or just, a coincidence?

• A Kean Eye points out that yet again, a fierce hurricane is coupled with a big earthquake. It seems he was also right about the “lights in the sky” - note this most recent hurriquake phenomenon, as so aptly coined by Mr. Matthams during the last round, was also in fact accompanied by not just strange lights in the sky over the Jersey shore this weekend and a few days earlier in Oregon, but another meteor shower. Hm. Check out this fireball sightings log over at the “American Meteor Society” and this story from Hurricane Dean and a Mexican community which believes UFOs protect them from hurricanes.

• Also did you notice the news about Mexican truckers being allowed on US highways? Interesting that happens just days after the summit and on Labor Day weekend to boot. Score one for the SPP and the coming economic union; as if we didn’t notice.

• Update on a little microchipping news; in California, state legislators voted that employers cannot require employees to receive one; however, Alzheimer’s patients seem to have less trouble with it.

• Thanks to Kingsley over at Between Both Worlds for the heads-up about the Russian zombie weapons. The Brits also recently deployed their mass-kill thermobaric weapons and work is progressing on the invisibility cloak.

• In other news of the apocalypse, the Chinese and Russian armies are working together, the UK is tracking a potentially threatening asteroid, there’s a goat with six horns, a cow with two heads, a big hole in the middle of the universe, and – oh yeah - UFOs are real.

• Finally to inject a little bit of lightness into the day, thanks to Pigonastick for this entertaining take on the Myers-Briggs personality tests (I’m an Idealist, which is funny because I did kind of run away and join the Rebellion).

• I’m not the only one here in Hawaii who found it strange that during the ‘hurricane’, satellite radar showed cloud cover when I looked outside and saw sunny skies. It has been the topic of conversation in town and I’m pretty convinced there was something going on there (HAARP, anyone?). Apparently Hurricane Erin also acted strangely. And check out this article (with videos) about strange lights that appeared before the earthquake in Peru recently; here’s the follow-up. A Kean Eye also informs us about the strange ‘hurricane pamphlets’ sent to NYC’s residents just days before a huge storm brought the city to a grinding halt. And seriously. A lot of big earthquakes lately.
• Scary follow-up from Trapped in Matter about those new acoustic devices going up in Chicago. Click on the link for the Modulator and listen to the ‘wail’ sound. It’ll make your hair stand on end.

• Gotta love the Danger Room. From reminders as to Wal-Mart’s power over China to constant updates on emerging military technologies, I can barely keep up. Spy Blog and Subtopia are fun new discoveries as well, thanks to fellow thinking blogger Kingsley.

• Controversy over the Federal ID has Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff warning that citizens in states who don’t ratify the act may have to have passports to travel domestically. Already the new passport rules for traveling to Canada have prompted a surge in new applications as well as a new rule; if you own back child support, good luck. Also the new passports are chipped.
• Quite a lot of talk online about the revelation that even the CIA and the Vatican edit certain pages on Wikipedia. Duh. The WikiScanner is now operational but one does wonder why they didn’t cover their tracks better.
• More changes at our Kilauea volcano as lava bench collapses.
• Previously unknown islands appear as ice melts rapidly in Arctic. Just keep it in mind when you hear news of the race (US, Canada, Russia, Denmark) to claim its resources.
• Wordpress users will pick up on the news that the popular blogging platform has been blocked in Turkey. That article contains a few tips on how to circumvent that if you are affected.

I found video of what I saw the other day, right before the earthquake and the hurricane beginning to scatter. It was actually on the news here! So for those of you following this, here is a very short video on YouTube which is EXACTLY what I saw - this is it. Someone did apparently get it on video. Yesterday I spoke with other people who saw it, thought it was a UFO; according to them, there was more than one.

• So Flossie was a bust (strangely not even a drop of rain or one harsh breeze where I live)…today I found out some other people here on the Big Island saw that strange meteoric flash in the sky (they think it was military flares), and even caught it on video, I’ll try and get it if I can, but talking about it since then, we wonder that it happened within about an hour before the earthquake, and within about an hour after that, the hurricane began to break apart – I was watching the satellite image almost continuously…anyway seems strange…

• More on China’s ability to control the weather. Sure makes you wonder about what’s really going on with our world’s crazy weather this summer…global warming or…?? (not to mention all that fuss with the recalled toys and other China-made products…China also could greatly impact our already fragile economy…beware the sleeping dragon…)

• China has banned reincarnation without permission in Tibet. Huh??

• In recent weeks several countries have been making their way up to the Arctic, including Russia, Canada and the US. Denmark says no go. Even the CFR is weighing in on the topic. What’s going on up there? The ice is melting faster than ever; if it’s really a race for natural resources, why send in the military? Antarctica has had its share of shady controversy as well over the years. Maybe they’re following these explorers into the hollow earth, or fighting for control over the way in?

• Will Bush cancel the 2008 election? Benjamin Fulford claims the opposite here…

• Unpasteurized milk is illegal. Soon most supplements may be categorized as controlled substances as well, if the FDA has its way. Check out the collection of frigging excellent cartoons from Mike Adams of CounterThink lampooning the government, health industry and others.

• Just had to pass this on: this is what happens when aliens drink and drive.

• More on the little or no brain issue. Seems they may not be quite as important as we think, no pun intended.

• Finally, came across a very strange item, not sure what to make of it…Cryptomundo first began discussing the bridge collapse in Minn. because of strange synchronicities with certain names, numbers, and the Silver Bridge collapse (tied to the Mothman in legend) in 1967; then the Chinese bridge collapse took it a step further, as this particular city is supposedly famous in China for its legends about a giant, strange bird…cryptozoology is not usually my thing but just thought it interesting enough to comment on.

Sitting out on my porch tonight, enjoying the lovely sunset over the ocean and waiting for Hurricane Flossie, I saw a freakishly close meteorite (at least I think that’s what it was since I’ve not seen anything like that before) go down into the water, probably about 10 miles out, if that. I could see the large fireball streak down through the dusky sky, in a sort of serpentine curve, leaving a trail of white smoke in its wake. We live at altitude so I had a very good view. What’s weird is, it seemed to break apart as it came down, and one of the pieces just hung there in the sky, burning like a bright white piece of smoke or something, I don’t know; not moving, just hanging there, gradually streaking out horizontally as it was pulled by the wind. Maybe it was the setting sun behind a dense puff of smoke, but it sure looked weird. I watched it for about 20 minutes, half-expecting it to suddenly take off or something.

Ok, maybe I spend too much time on the Internet looking at weird stuff. Probably a remnant of the Perseids…but I only saw a few tiny, very distant streaks the other night, and this was nothing like that.

Then I came in, opened my laptop to check my email, thinking about what I’d just seen, when we had a 5.3 earthquake (according to IRIS it was a 5.6). We had that big one back in October here and another smaller but also sizable one on Thanksgiving morning, but nothing much we could feel since then (though there are often small earthquakes going on because of the volcano, we don’t usually feel them up here)…this one was rolling and rocking back and forth, and seemed to keep going for quite a while, at least in earthquake time (slow-motion disaster/should-I-panic mode). Not violent enough to knock anything over but significant enough to make you stop what you’re doing, in that state of alertness or anticipation, not knowing if you should jump up and save the statues or not.

Hmm. A strong hurricane is on its way, which isn’t unheard of, but if it really does hit us here on the Big Island it will be a relatively rare event, because most hurricanes are pushed away by our winds. Only two or five hurricanes have hit the state of Hawaii since 1950, depending on what you define as hurricanes versus tropical cyclones. The last destructive hurricane to hit Hawaii was Iniki in 1992, which hit Kauai hard, but my friends who lived here then said it was sunny that day for them. Hurricane Dot, in 1959, also did most of its damage in Kauai. Three other lesser storms have also caused major damage, but very little of it here on the Big Island aside from some high surf.

So, my friends, what do you think? Coincidence? My money is still on Flossie fizzling out, though we may get some stormy skies for awhile (and probably lose power, because, hey, that’s Hawaii; sometimes, we lose power just for no reason at all!).

On the other hand if we get slammed hard I’m calling DARPA. Personally, I don’t really believe in coincidence.
