Nassim Haramein: “Crossing the Event Horizon”

Recently I had the good fortune to come across a copy of Nassim Haramein‘s DVD set, “Crossing the Event Horizon.” I would highly recommend a watch to anyone looking for an excellent interpretation of concepts ranging from Unified Field Theory, fractal geometrical realities, and the torque of spacetime, to crop circles, the pyramids, ancient calendars and our place in the universe. Four DVDs span over six hours of material, much of it Nassim’s own entertaining presentation of his brainpopping theories, with some special features worth investigating. His website, The Resonance Project, also contains a lot of his research, papers and articles, a trailer of his DVD and a preview of “The Power of Spin.” You can also join in his monthly teleconference calls.

I give him credit for puzzling together his theories from hard physics, pure brainpowered revelation and no doubt plenty of inspiration from the Ether. His background is unique, and given the state of our current orthodox scientific community, which seems to progress with the speed of a glacier, the new ideas he’s brought into dialogue are refreshing and invigorating. I can only imagine what his theories could bring in terms of changing our reality – from the expansive way we understand creation and our very existence, to how we live our everyday lives. Understandable why he appears on this video which won the One Minute Shift video contest.

The double torus he talks about, based around the tetrahedral and cubeoctahedral geometric structures, is well founded in hard math, and can also be found discussed in terms of sacred geometry. There is a ringing of truth somewhere in my spirit, which may explain why it’s called The Resonance Project. The idea that creation is literally spun around in a sort of double-donut shape around a center vacuum, escaping from the center ‘white’ hole and winding around the outside to be sucked in by the other side’s black hole, simply makes sense in some profound way, particularly the additional torque or spinning motion that he postulates may provide an explanation for the movement of everything from galaxies and subatomic particles, to spacetime itself. This Coriolis Effect resultant of the gravitational and electromagnetic forces at work, when balanced creates a golden spiral or phi ratio. These concepts are finding their way around the noosphere in various forms and via various paths; Richard Merrick wrote a good article about these theories over at Reality Sandwich. The black hole/white hole idea is something I mentioned in my book four years ago, albeit nowhere near this level of thought; somehow it resonated with me (no pun intended), as I imagine it could be related to the ancients’ concepts of reality itself. As Nassim says, it explains why and how the Universe is both expanding and contracting at the same time. It explains where the energy is coming from. In fact it may explain the very meaning of life itself, the existence of the Universe and the enigma of the void of subatomic space. As above, so below.

After this new information began to seep in, I started to wonder what implications this would have for consciousness itself, so I wasn’t too surprised to find this radio interview. It’s clear Nassim also can’t help but realize the amazing possibility that consciousness plays an important role in the fundamental structure of spacetime. Kudos to him; though I’m sure it must be why orthodox science is not so quick to accept such new ideas. Unfortunately in orthodox science, genius is often recognized much later, but for those of us already out here on the fringe, it is a very welcome development. I keep thinking about our alignment with the galactic plane on the winter solstice in 2012, which I’ve mentioned here before, the end of the Mayan fourth sun on that date as well as our current place along the precession of the equinoxes: just now beginning to enter the Aquarian age, beginning the Great Cycle anew, and again.

Is the ancients’ concept of the Great Ages perhaps a more complete wisdom than we realize? Could our very state of consciousness be poised to transverse some integral dimensional edge along this Great Donut of Enlightenment? Are we about to enter the Event Horizon?

Nassim Haramein himself said, “”Everything we see in the Universe is the infinity of the energy density of the vacuum in various scales. The biological resolution is the link between the large and the small. You are the event horizon. Instead of seeing yourself as an insignificant little dot that means nothing to the Universe, you start to see yourself as the center of creation. Everyone else is the center of their Universe as well. And thus we are all equal and we’re all one.”

You may sneer, but our weather here in Hawaii has been much colder than usual this winter. We’ve had several large and destructive storms, and Hilo is getting ravaged again right now. And it’s the same story all over the world. Is it global warming, the next ice age, or maybe Planet X? What about the US military’s experiments with climatic warfare?

That hasn’t stopped Pele. Kilauea volcano continues to march towards a mostly deserted subdivision on the Big Island. One guy is a holdout down there, and we often wonder about him; here’s a recent news video on this very story.

Another undersea internet cable was damaged yesterday in the Middle East, making it the fourth inside of a week. Egypt claims it was not ships’ anchors; so, what was it? Just a coincidence, or Information Warfare? (Thanks, Todd, at Through the Looking Glass)

Reading up on the reverse speech phenomenon, for whatever reason it caught my eye, particularly the category Planet X: Breaking the Net over at EVP Reverse Speaking. Very bizarre stuff and yet, deeply resonant with my own inner sense of what is going on. Not quite sure what to make of it all; I guess backmasking has been in use for awhile now, from Crowley to pop music, and now you can upload your own audio file and listen backwards, or even download a free open source sound editor.

DNA research is accelerating: Researchers find electrostatic attractions cause Twin strands of DNA seek each other out. On the heels of that discovery, the news that “s trands of DNA can be programmed to assemble nanoparticles into 3D structures, pointing towards a new way to engineer materials from the bottom up.” Notable that scientists use DNA to build 3D structures out of gold. Then move to freaky Dr. Moreau-type human chimera experiments as reported by National Geographic. Or how about Scientists find Extraterrestrial genes in Human DNA? Perhaps interesting is tetrahedra-shaped DNA cages, used in nanotech. Keep in mind DNA is about to get a lot easier to read.

Shapeshifting Robots in Action. Navy tests their new sci-fi weapon, electromagnetic railgun. Frightening nonlethal Humvee-mounted crowd-control. But alas, no more death rays.

Fun with numbers: I knew that the precession of the equinoxes takes about 26,000 years to complete, marked by our alignment with the galactic center. What I didn’t realize was the center of our galaxy is about 26,000 light years away.

Particle Accelerator May Reveal Shape Of Alternate Dimensions. This is particularly interesting when viewed alongside the other recent news that the Ophiuchus galaxy cluster emanates highly energetic X-rays, which basically turn the area into a giant particle accelerator. Ophuichus is the Serpent Bearer, the 13^th, or “lost” sign of the zodiac. Thanks to A Kean Eye for the synch. Incidentally Ophiuchus is located near the galactic center with which we will be soon aligning.

Love, Psycho-cryptography and the Noosphere

Lawrence Hagerty wrote in The Spirit of the Internet,“…the Internet is not the noosphere. It is merely an infrastructure that is now available for the noosphere to use.” Hagerty goes on to profess, “I believe that the Internet is serving as just such an attractor, or basin of attraction, drawing the Earth’s most creative minds into a synergistic union out of which a new form of human consciousness can arise from the wells of chaos.“

The noosphere is a term created by Jesuit priest/radical thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, whose ideas were frankly force-fed to me in college in the eighties (I happened to attend a Jesuit university where he was practically worshiped as a god). For that reason perhaps I wrongly assumed his teachings were more widespread than they actually were at the time. But I find no uncertain irony that his ideas continue to haunt my own delightfully synchronous journey towards Singularity.

Not the technological singularity of Ray Kurzweil; I’m talking more about what’s happening over at Reality Sandwich, and other important, alternative think tanks and blogs of our time. “New science” is termed thusly because, reminiscent of Capra’s intuitions of decades past, scientific discoveries are merged with new (and perhaps very old) interpretations of consciousness. This is how it should be; the Newtonian universe must ultimately be discarded in favor of the quantum discoveries that tickle our brains, easing us into new frontiers of existence, consciousness and human evolution. The homo cyber I find mentioned here and there, if left alone in the wilderness of pure artificial or mechanistic intelligence, would be the unfortunate result of not taking the final step of this process. Like refusing to take the red pill, our psyches would be left to rot inside the prison Matrix of third dimensional space-time. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy,” reminds Shakespeare.

The Internet may be Noosphere 1.0, a precursor to an enlightened state of consciousness; or perhaps, Noosphere for Beginners, or Noosphere for Dummies. Though arguably a creation of Big Brother’s sinister and eavesdropping omnipresence, the Internet is also being used, perfectly a la Tao, as a vehicle to transmit thoughts and ideas in preparation for a purely telepathic noosphere. The next several years its role will be vastly influential in terms of the global progression of consciousness, and I urge all to participate as they can until then (or until the government curtails this freedom, much as it has done with suppressing entheogens); but at some point, perhaps soon, the circuits and transistors will go the way of the covered wagon. Many of us will leave our electronic devices abandoned on the beach as we eventually look up and realize the great sea of enlightenment and oneness is before us, and go in for a dip – never to return. The key to ridding ourselves of the shackles of this reality is love, pure and simple. Love is the thing no machine can transmit; love is the unique trait, or ability, that will catapult our transformation from homo sapiens not to homo cyber, but to homo luminus.

The minds at work on the great consciousness project at this moment are alive during this time not by accident. They are all Surfing the Tao though they may not be aware of it. We are all giving what we have, and taking what we need, in some kind of post-modern, spirit-driven, psychedelic communistic mind trip, hastened by our collective visions of 2012 and beyond. Hagerty calles it entheospace; I might describe the sensation as a sort of dreamstate, finding oneself floating down a river of consciousness, gently colliding with others riding down the same stream in a kind of synchronistic, fractal pattern of atunement, as we all slip closer to the great sea.

Daniel Pinchbeck’s first book was entitled, Breaking Open the Head – which I mention here not for its particular content, which is a mind-expanding examination of the entheogenic experience, but because it so aptly illustrates my own particular state of being.

My own head cracked in college, during several misguided entheogenic experiences. I discovered Terence McKenna, but as far as spirituality goes, I was definitely a seeker who didn’t really want to spend any time looking.

This all changed in 1999. The previous fracture, which had begun to scar over, was rent asunder, and a torrent of new knowledge and higher frequencies began to stream in. I will only say: the true masters are truly hidden. And it is meant to stay that way, for now, perhaps because actual participants can often teach each other more in the beginning. But I was urged to continue meditating, and before long I had what Neil Kramer over at The Cleaver might call a fourth dimensional experience.

Without any entheogenic aid, I crossed over into the void. Suddenly, I Knew.

There are no further words for what I experienced. The language simply doesn’t exist. But it changed everything I knew, all that I was. What followed was years of reading, researching, listening, loving, meditating and change. Many of the books that appeared as if by magic I have listed here. My intellectual side was frustrated, but my spirit was at peace for the first time I can remember in my adult life. The end result of that was, I wrote a book, which was really just a cathartic expression of my overwhelmed psyche.

My own path is still guided by amazing synchronicity and coincidence. I find it startling how often I find articles written about the very subject I had been ruminating about. How I discover brilliant minds have already found answers to the questions I have been asking. How so many of our paths are beginning to converge on the Great Path. Spirituality, Taoism, 2012, eschatology, Planet X, the Matrix, conspiracy, sinister agendas, alien technology, symbology, synchromysticism, mind control, electromagnetism, alternative energy, quantum physics, plasma physics, torsion physics, entheogenic-inspired thought and conscious enlightenment, ecocentric living, — the puzzle pieces are coming together rapidly. I cannot explain how I know what I Know, yet I will say; the quickening is upon us. The noosphere is coalescing. The Puzzle of Being, and the question of consciousness, is in the process of being realized by a vast cadre of psycho-cryptographers.

The great irony is, I sense, that this enlightened, super-charged, noospheric state of being is and has always has been, here and now. This ancient Way that has been lost during our fall, over perhaps hundreds of thousands of years, is now being quickly rediscovered, picked up and dusted off as some kind of primordial reflex to protect ourselves from what we subconsciously know is coming. We are remembering, so that we will survive.

I remember Y2K. Regarding expectations for 2012, the intensity of thought, intellect, spirit, and energy now in 2008 is somewhat on par with what happened the months previous to Y2K. And we have nearly five years left. What incredible postulations, theories, discoveries, transitions, realizations, opportunities, manifestations, creations and expectations will surface between now and then?

And what will happen on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 universal time? That remains to be seen; but to prepare for either global catastrophe, psychedelic wormholes or simply more life as we know it – the only answer is, and always will be: love, peace and harmony.

Sometimes I wonder how I find what I do here online – and when I do, I wonder what else I’m missing. I’m only one person. Only one computer. Only so many hours in the day.

The Electric Universe, Psychedelic Wormholes and the Spiders on Mars

Plasma, or ionized gas, is often referred to as the fourth state of matter and is defined as an “assemblage of charged particles called electrons and ions that react collectively to forces exerted by electric and magnetic fields”. It is said to make up more than 99% of the visible and non-visible universe.

The sun and other stars are made up of plasma, as is the solar wind. And what used to be thought of as the emptiness or void of space, the interplanetary, interstellar and intergalactic mediums, is now known to be filled with it. On earth, plasma is found in various products such as plasma TV displays, fluorescent lamps and neon signs, as well as in various natural lightning phenomena, the ionosphere, and the polar aurorae.

First identified in our era by Sir William Crookes in 1879 and named thusly by Nobel Laureate Irving Langmuir in 1929, plasma’s complexity continues to baffle much of the scientific world. Among the first scientists to research plasma physics in our modern era are notables Kristian Birkeland and later, Hannes Alfven, who coined the term Plasma Universe and won a Nobel Prize for his efforts in 1970. Though the subject is still full of controversy, there are now many, many research institutes working on this new wave of scientific thought. Some alternative researchers insist that plasma physics has still not been fully utilized and understood in terms of its relevance to cosmology. So much so, apparently, that the Los Alamos site on the Plasma Universe includes this disclaimer. But it is sure to be the focus of enormous research this century. This site writes, “Gravity was the focus of 20^th century astrophysics. For the 21^st century, it will be electromagnetism and plasmas in addition.”

Check out the video called Thunderbolts of the Gods, which explains this enlightening piece of the great puzzle of existence. The Thunderbolts Project is involved in raising awareness of the Electric Universe, which opens up radical new lines of thought in terms of cosmogony, chaos theory and theoretical and quantum physics – essentially the very origins and nature of our reality itself. However from this lively debate on Wikipedia regarding inclusion of the material on its site, one can infer that the discussion is far from over (though as the final word points out, this article on Comet Holmes’ recent activities may change that).

I found several highly interesting posits from the Electric Universe crowd. One, that it’s actually electric charge emanating from comets, not cosmic dust per the old ‘dirty snowball’ idea, that we can see as they fly through space. The Electric Universe theory seeks to knock conventional scientific theory surrounding the mystery of comets altogether to its knees. Another involves the suspicious fractal filamentary designs, such as Lichtenberg figures, indicating possible electric discharges in locations commonly thought of as being impact craters on the moons and planets in our solar system, like the spiders on Mars – including perhaps even Tungusta, which I have long suspected had more to do with an electromagnetic display of some sort, ala Tesla, than the meteor theory that is more widely accepted.

Orthodox science takes a very long time to allow such paradigm shifts to trickle down into all the various disciplines. Quantum physics shattered science decades ago and its reverberations are still being accounted for to this day. Plasma physics may well indeed follow up on this rupture in conventional theory, altering our understanding of the universe in ways we cannot yet imagine.

Going even further out onto the fringe, the metaphysical reverberations will also undoubtedly take their sweet time. After over thirty years, The Tao of Physics is still making its rounds. On the other hand, alternative theorists are already discussing such radical ideas as the effect of our coming 2012 alignment with the galactic plane on consciousness, and perhaps even dimensional shifts, like some kind of psychedelic wormhole in spacetime. The fact that known ‘mind control’ technologies work by changing electromagnetic fields must lead us to at least consider that other ‘natural’ electromagnetic displays in our universe may influence us at the very base of our existence as well.

We are, in truth, all electric entities, resonating and reverberating with our environments on a level we perhaps do not completely understand; theories surrounding the Schumann resonance are a good example. My own eclectic experience with energetic thought patterns, energetic healing such as chi gung, even our Buddha-natures and the very concept of the Tao itself, as an energetic and perhaps even electric field which encompasses all of creation, has me wondering if all of this may well slide science that much closer to spirit – for some of us, anyway. We may phrase things differently than the ancients, but somehow, they intuited truths that science is still working to ‘discover’. I believe there are clues out there, both in science and in the fringes of metaphysics, that we might pay attention to as we slide ever and more quickly closer to the changes that are to come.

Global Warning?

Climate change is in the news. And it’s not just the UN Climate Change Commission in Bali, which recently completed negotiations for its new Bali Roadmap, the successor pact to the Kyoto Protocols regarding greenhouse gas emissions, slated to go into effect in 2013. News about all sorts of crazy weather patterns and climate-related disasters seems to be dominating much of the mainstream. Devastating floods and droughts worldwide. Rising sea levels. Wicked storms. Sunburns in Antarctica. Italy’s woodlands dying. The vanishing of the bees – here’s a trailer for a documentary about that. At this point few are denying that there is something going on. But when Presidential candidates are lining up for the opportunity to use climate change to their advantage, and when Rupert Murdoch is vocally pushing the issue on us, I must cry fnord.

What’s causing the apparent changes is up for debate everywhere except in the mainstream, which insists global warming is our own fault and that reducing emissions and going green is the only answer. Those who dare debate this anymore are accused of creating propaganda for the oil industry, or being mean-spirited Al Gore-haters; or perhaps, of just being crazy paranoids. Certainly I would never argue with going green; fossil fuels are dangerous and polluting, not to mention ridiculous (free energy, anyone?) and very expensive nowadays – which also makes me wonder; why would these guys push the cause if they’re only going to lose their precious oil dollars? Are they all looking to make their next fortunes in corn-based ethanol instead (or poised to rake it in on wheat futures when world food supplies are depleted), or just falling onto the politically-correct bandwagon; or, is there some other agenda lurking in the background?

Usually, if there’s hype, there’s also cover-up. Here is a site that lists articles about many other climate change opinions which I found it interesting, especially the articles about cosmic rays, the sun and other planets in our solar system also heating up. Could it be, perchance, something much larger going on? Something that might cause global panic if it made the news? Better sweep those notions into the lunatic fringe – no room for that in the mainstream. Too messy.

However, as this gentleman points out in The Times, “chaos theory rules.” With all the various potential contributors to climate change, how to know for sure what the exact cause is, especially since we’ve only been keeping records for a relatively short period, compared to vast geologic time? Even a large volcanic eruption can throw off the climate, as evidenced by this slice of history picked up by The Economist about the extraordinary summer of 1783. Or how about this article about ancient global warming?

So, maybe it’s just a minor blurp in the climate cycle; an exchange of gases or just a combination of elements that’s causing only slight deviations which seem larger due to our limited scope in time, or the huge population now present on the planet.

Or, maybe it’s not.

Maybe there really is a Dark Star, a Nemesis sister sun, an extra planet or some other celestial body on it’s way towards us, threatening our Earth’s delicate balance like a spinning top. Laura Knight-Jadczyk’s intriguing article caught my eye, especially her point involving the fractal and multidimensional structure of space-time and the concept of cosmic, quantum jumps within it. And yet, it’s only part of the lunatic fringe, at this point, to be sure. All I’m suggesting is – pay attention. Read up on everything, and don’t be fooled. Sure; buy a hybrid, recycle and install solar panels. Head off to the hills, if you must. But notice unusual puzzles, like comets going missing, controversial pyramids in Bosnia or Russia, and even the Mayan calendar 2012 end date. Just be prepared, be wise to the hype and resistant to the propaganda. Maybe the ancients were trying to tell us something – something the powers-that-be don’t want us to know.

Had a nice day at the beach today following days and days of stormy weather here after a ‘Kona low‘ hit the state. Check out some photos of the damage. Felt kind of like the phantom hurricane we were supposed to have in back in August. Blizzards on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, flash floods on Maui (though some still found a way to have fun – click on “Maui’s kind of couch surfing” at CNN video), power outages, school closings, disaster declaration and high surf that washed away all the sand at several of our favorite spots. Glad to finally see the sun again, though even today it’s still windy.

I understand the Northwest also suffered similar weather-related disasters last week, as did Australia. In Ireland, surfers defied unusually giant waves for the ride of a lifetime. And I’m crying hurriquake again in Fiji, which got hit with a cyclone and a 7.8 earthquake.

Here’s a PDF article about HAARP and weather warfare, “Beware the US military’s experiments with climatic warfare”, warns the author. I’m also in the middle of Jerry Smith’s book Weather Warfare. It’s a doozy.

Very interesting video of Ron Eglash, an ‘ethno-mathmetician’, discussing fractal patterns in African villages. I cited his work in my book as an example of possible evidence that we have been unconsciously processing fractals as a species for a very long time, and perhaps a renewed awareness might help us in our present consciousness-raising endeavors. Seriously – fractals are super-cool and have a lot to teach us about our reality.

If you’re following the current economic crisis, you might like to read this recent article in Der Spiegel, “The Dollar Nosedive”. It explains a heck of a lot. Then read this article by Ron Paul, “The End of Dollar Hegemony” and you’ll understand why we need to be concerned when oil starts being traded in currencies other than dollars, as Venezuela has done and now Iran.

In that spirit I wonder about articles like this one about creating alternative or regional currencies; kind of an interesting idea. May 25^th was Universal Day of the Jedi, and it was a big one this year, 30 years since the first Star Wars movie came out! True geeks might know that May 25 is also Towel Day…that’s towel as is The Number 42, not Towelie…don’t forget your towel…

This article about a disruptive bee swarm, and then this one about a swarm actually forcing a plane to land recently, made me wonder for a moment about what is really going on with the bees; what if it were all part of some kind of bizarre ‘bee revolt’ – or worse, an attempt to warn us about something!

This month is a Blue Moon – in most places; see what I mean here. More interesting Moon thoughts. Cool, short video of Comet McNaught seen in Australia earlier this year. The Economist recently published an article about the Earth’s approaching magnetic pole reversal. A star is about to go supernova in the constellation of Ophiuchus, the ‘serpent-holder’ or The Dragon, the only one of the 13 zodiacal constellations that doesn’t have its own astrological sign – and rumored to be the source of Planet X and varies species of aliens among other things.

I joined YouTube and am enjoying bookmarking all sorts of fun things, from Prince Charles being the anti-Christ to some gorgeous video fractals.

Be prepared for the disappearance of the US Dollar. The CFR and others are actively working towards a currency union in the Americas called the “Amero”, much like the Europeans did with the Euro. Along that vein, They’re talking about microchipping Alzheimer’s patients as well as airline employees. You know it’s not going to stop there. And in Scotland, Masonic symbols have been discovered in the heart of Glasgow – fully 37 acres of symbol, according to one theory.

In case you missed this sleight of hand, President Bush recently issued himself sweeping dictatorial powers in the case of any large-scale catastrophe. “The Day After” is a recent meeting of senior government and military officials and other experts which focused on a response to a large-scale nuclear attack. And probably other potential disasters as well, don’t you think? In the spirit of Towel Day, Don’t Panic and bring your towel.

Fractal Consciousness

I love fractals. They were a revelation to me when I first learned about them, as I imagine it was for science to learn there really are patterns in nature. “Mandelbrot’s reality has shapes undreamed of by Euclid, and surprises that ridicule the idea of order…clouds, coastlines, tree branches, commodity prices, word frequencies, turbulence in fluids, stars in the sky, a reputation, fame, the passage of history itself… – all are fractal shapes.” (Morrow, Lance. ESSAY: Let Us Recuse Ourselves Awhile. (Time, 03-05-1990), p. 72.)

In my book I suggest awareness of fractals might help spark the consciousness necessary to create a world outside of what are now considered to be our boundaries. Some researchers believe ancient civilizations were processing fractals long ago, evidence of which is found in ancient carvings and artwork. I always thought the Mandelbrot fractal resembled a sitting Buddha on its side. I believe fractals may be a much larger part of our subconscious than we realize; somehow they provide a link, or a bridge, to a larger universe; a Greater Reality – the Tao. In my own spirit I see them as a way the Tao reaches out to us and says, I Am.

For whatever reason fractals fascinate and inspire me. If you’re into them check out Ultra Fractal 4, which a friend turned me onto recently. I’m looking forward to tackling it myself and making some fun designs. I did this one a few years ago with an older program.

I learned about fractals while researching my book. Since then I found some great stuff online including how to design your own! “When mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot discovered a complicated new fractal set of equations in 1975, it led to a fundamental scientific re-categorizing of our reality. Suddenly there was order in chaos..he had discovered equations governing our reality…’clouds, coastlines, tree branches, commodity proces, word frequencies, turbulence in fluids, stars in the sky, a reputation, fame, the passage of history of itself…-all are fractal shapes.’” (Surfing the Tao, p.193) Awareness of fractals can open the mind to a new way to comprehend reality, an alternative to hierarchical and dualistic principles which presently govern our world. Not to mention they are fun, and can be truly beautiful!
