This is an oil painting I did for the cover of my book. These days I’ve been experimenting with watercolor pencils and pastels. I spent nearly ten years working in LA in the movie business building creatures, puppets and props, which taught me a lot about various mediums and materials. It was fun but exhausting…my life in Hawaii is now much more serene, but it takes some will power to get my creative juices flowing again.
