Personally life has not gotten easier; I know many may feel the same way. Economic hardship has hit us all one way or another. It’s been useful to find so much support in terms of raising consciousness, because at the same time, the world is sure making it more challenging to overcome. At least we know we are not alone, and I have great appreciation for all the great thinkers and writers I have met online.

But the actual living through it, in a nutshell, is what Surfing the Tao is all about. Like I’ve said many times, if I had perfected the living of this philosophy myself, I wouldn’t be here anymore to write about it. I go through my own daily ups and downs, and am grateful for the support of friends and family – believe me. I couldn’t do it all without them. You know who you are.

I hate to admit that Twitter is about all I have time for these days – that 140 character limit makes it easy for me to get a few headlines and thoughts out, without the hours spent writing, editing, and searching links. Still, I go days without signing in even there. It’s unfortunate, I know. But there it is.

I am discovering what it means to grow vegetables in Hawaii and battle the bugs. And it’s hard to discover that some of your dear chickens are roosters, instead of the egg-layers you signed up for. It’s a learning curve, to be sure, and I’m grateful for the lessons – I also recognize these are important lessons that deserve my time right now, and along with all the other normal daily dilemmas, the schedule is simply overbooked.

The job situation is too much to even write about. It’s agonizing on so many levels, and not just for me, but for people close to me as well. Many of us are discovering how time seems much, much shorter than it used to; the days flash by and our creative projects languish. If there’s not a quickening currently afoot, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle.

Meanwhile I am still somewhat languidly watching the headlines, and not being surprised at anything. We are living in the times I was warned about many times over. Behind the scenes, the p-t-b are busy. Frankly I’m even a little bored by it. Yes, our food is contaminated. Our drug and oil industries are corrupt. Politicians are not who they claim to be. Powerful control mechanisms, such as mind and weather control, are no longer only the realm of conspiracy theorists. Wars and catastrophic earth changes loom on the horizon. Bizarre synchronicities abound. The eschaton is being immanentized. Story at 11. Moving along.

I do sometimes have moments of panic, that I’m not being present enough for those who might need more support during these times. But that doesn’t mean the bad guys have won – far from it. The good guys have already won, but we need to live through it right now. In other words; once you’ve educated yourself on the Truth, step back, cease the panic, and take stock. Love is the only thing that will truly matter in the end. And – til I’m blue in the face – it’s all good.

I, as many others, have years of work behind me, a book even, so I’ve done my part, as best I could. Read my archives. And I’m not disappearing altogether. When more sh-t hits the fan I will be here to comment and advise; that is, if there still is an Internet at that point. But right now, I have to concentrate on my family, my livelihood, my own immediate reality. Perhaps it’s what we should all be doing right now. Get up from the computer, take a look around and wonder what you would do if the power went out – permanently. Even if it doesn’t, you would be well-prepared not only for emergencies, but in your own personal development and relationships. At some point we must all realize that the next step takes place within ourselves.

Notwithstanding the extraordinary historical significance of the first African-American Commander-in-Chief, the simple fact that the new guy very convincingly promised change we very much need right now has caused this transition of power to resonate deeply in the psyche of not just our country, but the world. The entire past year, including the economic collapse finally in September, has been so finely crafted as to evince great emotion from our most primal senses at this particular moment. One can feel the hope, and smell the change in the air. It’s quite intoxicating, I must admit.

It’s hard not to like the guy. I myself have tasted the kool-aid, and it is delicious. I am entranced by this new hero of our times; this prototype savior, messiah, miracle worker or superman, who has come to earth to save us all. There is no doubt that this new president has engendered the type of widespread adoration usually reserved for rock stars. People truly do seem mesmerized by him, judging by the outrageous crowds that showed up in previously unheard-of numbers for his inauguration, and the vast array of Obamemorabilia available. I went to the inauguration of the first Bush 20 years ago (I happened to be in school in DC at the time), and it was nothing like this looked. Today, was just incredible. Even my parents’ generation cannot remember anything like it.

What comes next, we shall see. Either Obamamania is peaking now, or we really are in for a wild ride. Consider, though, that the same bozos who made policy under Nixon and Carter are still here lending their support to the new guy, and being very vocal about calling their much-longed-for “new world order” by name now, without reservation – and surprisingly often without a blink from anyone. We are being prepared to sacrifice, serve and assist our government in creating a new world, for a new age. Now, where have I heard that kind of rhetoric before?

The past eight years, a terrible creature, one that seems to appear and disappear again and again throughout the ages, had started to become visible again. I wondered, whether its scaly talons would actually relinquish the ball, and follow through with a change in power. After having paid close attention to the performances and members of the cast this past year, it seems as if it was not forced to relinquish the ball really at all. It merely switched it from one side of the aisle to the other – from the right gnarled claw, to the left, so to speak. (Interesting to consider certain occult beliefs surrounding the right hand and left hand paths, as well as the note that for whatever reason, a disproportionately high number of U.S. Presidents have been left-handed, including Obama.)

So, are we going to get change? Really? Let’s hope the powers-that-be have it in their plan to allow a few years of peace and prosperity – at least until Obama’s reelection is assured in 2012. On the outside, it does seem like the administration has already been working very quickly on policy. Its new site/blog went up within minutes of his taking the oath of office. It will be interesting to see what transpires when, and in what order of priority. On this level, yes, I believe it is possible things could change. But not necessarily how we might imagine it – and not necessarily as a result of something the government will do, but as a result of what the new government inspires us to do. Faith in one’s government does amazing things to the energy of a nation, whether that government deserves that faith, or not. In this sense, the powers-that-be were quite clever in presenting this new incarnation as not only worthy of our trust, but as a knight in shining armor, compared to the ogre they made of the last one. As a population, we reacted perfectly as predicted, I might imagine.

The true agendas behind these inspiring times will be of more concern down the line. Right now, the priority is to get jobs and food on the table for everyone. The fact that we risk selling our souls to the devil in charge of this new world order, well…we may have to confront that at some point.

Watch for the talk of subjugating the sovereignty of nation states to international supra-authorities to continue, and perhaps even be finalized sooner rather than later, as a solution to the looming doom. Order out of chaos, and all that. There will always be a United States, just as there will always be a Spain, and a Tahiti. But there will also be a North American Union, just as there is a European Union – and there will likely be the Amero as well, just as there is the Euro. Such organizations take precedence over the sovereignty of individual states, and the reasons given will be to 1) save the economy and 2) save the environment. Both economics and environmentalism have been used by the powers-that-be as rationalizations for global government through the years. This administration is sure to make all of that sound just about as wonderful and sensible as you could imagine. Just don’t forget what Aristotle said about absolute power corrupting absolutely. There’s that creature, fading into view again.

Also, pay attention to biological RFID news. If They ever mandate a “mark” for citizens, then it’s time to run away. Seriously.

By the way, Edmund de Rothschild died today too, perhaps as if to make it official that the old order is gone, and the new one has arrived.

I am careful to pay attention to the general nature of the memes being exchanged out there, as these portentous times march forward. There is quite a lot of evidence to suggest that many ancient prophecies could be in the process of being fulfilled; or, perhaps it is just Their continuing efforts to immanentize the eschaton. Either way, the nearness does seem to be getting nearer, as commented my friend Kingsley on the second installment of this series. It seems like a Plan is really coming together.

This drama isn’t over yet.

The new season kicked off with surprising new supporting actors and even a few deadly serious and tragic plot twists, including weather disasters (possibly even far more destructive than we're even being told – thanks Marcus), looming financial Armageddon and maybe even World War III. It would be breathtakingly suspenseful if it weren't being played out in the real world, so it ends up just being frighteningly depressing for many people.

I'm trying to ignore some of what passes as news these days, like lipstick, up-do hairstyles and designer eyewear. (Though I found a really good blog on that whole thing, not to mention an occasional objection to the propaganda.) But I can't ignore the feeling of dread when I see them broadcast financial aftershocks around the world, including the largest expansion of government since the Great Depression, not to mention the hawkish rhetoric and veiled threats in recent international exchanges that continue to haunt the background. The issues confronting us during this election season are most certainly being manipulated, and very well, I might add. Using fear to manage the outcome is genius, if not old hat. I for one am on the edge of my seat.

Awhile back during Act I when the primaries were in full swing, I noted that despite the frustration of feeling manipulated by the whole show, I still hoped there would be an election and a changing of the guard, superficial though it may be. I still feel that way, and with good reason considering the current very dangerously evolving issues. I can't help but imagine GW's trigger finger hovering over his newly created extraordinary emergency powers, NSPD-51.

The World War III rabbit hole is very deep, from videos on YouTube to radical articles that shock one out of the mainstream propagandist trance into some very agonizing considerations. Wars and rumors of war, and all that. It's hard not to smell the noxious odor of tensions rising between certain countries. Don't let the current financial crisis or candidate mudslinging cause you to take your eye off the ball on this one – pay attention. It's all connected, and wars are not accidental – evidence is strong that the sparks of war are fanned into flames by those most likely to profit.

The recent economic chaos just throws more fear and instability into the mix, not to mention a convenient increased consolidation of resources and control for the powers-that-be. Another longer one with a lot of information is called The Money Masters. Clearly more research and thought on alternative ways to manage economies must be considered. We would be well-advised to take a clue from our ancestors and create smaller, sustainable and more manageable communities, like the Ahupua'a in Hawaii, combined with new technologies like Aquaponics. Other intriguing alternative economic ideas I came across are Open Money and possibly the Global Reserve Bank.

There is no time to lose. Frankly mainstream news is bad enough, but I suspect the real truth of the matter is far worse. Be careful for China, for one thing. This Hit & Run post points out the subsequent rise in gold prices, something to pay attention to for lots of reasons (and be very careful if you're investing – could be They're planning to crash that too). Check out this Coast to Coast clip from last year about the collapse of the world economic system. In this video, Ron Paul accuses Fed Chairman Bernanke of deliberately destroying the dollar. According to some more radical sources, this has all been malevolently preplanned. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. One might take note that NSPD-51 defines a "Catastrophic emergency" as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions." [author's emphasis.] Could it be that our “hero” will come in the form of a unified North American currency, the Amero? Will They let it get so bad that we'll literally beg for it, classic problem-reaction-solution?

Finally we have the issue of the election itself, which is as suspicious as anything else. The manipulation of the hearts and minds of an unwitting population is hard to watch, knowing the powers-that-be have likely got it all sewn up already, either way. However I recently came across an independent documentary well worth watching, called Free For All, about the theft of the election and the democratic process altogether. Watch the film, check out his blog, pass it on. I've linked to documentaries on this subject before and feel it's important for people to be aware of the reality of hackable electronic voting systems and voter caging. Even mainstream news is picking up on these stories now. The makers of Free For All encourage participation and involvement from the people, including citizens observing elections (videothevote.com). Whether we really have a choice is up for debate. Watching all these issues swirl around, I remain unconvinced, though I am a little dizzy from all the spinning. It's time to be prepared for anything. We're living in important times, I believe.  Bring on Act III.

This situation has global ramifications, since the world markets are so closely tied into each other. Recently several countries have been attempting to resuscitate the markets by infusing cash into the system, our own included. As recently as this past Thursday, central banks in Australia, Japan, the UK, Canada and the European Central bank were forced to step in, hoping to stave off the so called ‘credit crunch’ and potential ensuing market crash. The Federal Reserve additionally cut the rate on discount loans, which might ease the pinch at least for now.

And once again, we find China involved at the very top of the pyramid, this time boldly threatening to collapse the dollar. China holds so many of our dollars, an estimated $900 billion in bonds, that it would be very easy for them to do so, thus setting off a kind of financial Armageddon. The Senate has even drafted a bill which calls for “tariffs against Chinese goods as retaliation for alleged currency manipulation.” It seems weather wars and exporting toxic consumer goods are not enough; an economic war could very well be in the works, as the sleeping dragon stirs.

But not everyone is suffering. Forbes reported on August 8 that “a consortium of the nation’s leading investment banks have quietly created an index that is not only protecting them against the recent market meltdown but also promising to make them bundles of money in the process.” Additionally, Nasdaq is reportedly launching “a private stock market for super-wealthy investors”, which will be outside the purview of any regulatory agency.

One cannot help but notice the timing in these maneuvers; in July, the Rothschild banking group announced its re-unification, ending a separation dating from the 19^th century. A famous quote by Mayer Amschel Rothschild is repeated often, “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes her laws.” This family is infamously involved in the creation of our modern financial system, dating back to the middle ages. For an excellent, well-researched look inside that history, as well as the occult Masonic symbolism on our money itself, check out Tracy R. Twyman’s article, “The Alchemical Dollar: The Magic and Mystery of America’s Money”, based on her book on the same topic. She links the Federal Reserve’s deeds over the years to an alchemists dream of creating gold, or wealth, from lesser materials. So it is with our dollar; no longer backed by gold or silver, our paper money, now fiat currency, is based solely on the faith of the consumer. In her opinion, by doing so, we are all participating in a magical or alchemical ritual set up long ago. One need not be a conspiracy theorist to find that point of view fascinating.

The nation’s Comptroller, David Walker, was in the news recently warning of a coming fiscal collapse, comparing the state of our economy with the fall of Rome. And don’t count me as an official Ron Paul supporter just yet, but his article, “The End of Dollar Hegemony”, did give me pause. He didn’t have to touch on the occult history of our financial system to remind us of what the Federal Reserve really is (a private bank), and what the abandonment of the gold standard in 1971 could mean for the future of our economy. Congressman Paul also makes a good argument that our recent wars are as much economic as anything else; according to him, abandoning the gold standard forced the US to back it instead with oil, arranging with OPEC in the 1970s to trade exclusively in dollars for the valuable commodity. When Saddam Hussein began to demand trading in Euros rather than dollars for his oil in 2000; well, we know what happened. Similarly in 2001, Venezuela began to talk about switching to Euros for their oil, and within a year there was a coup attempt against Chavez, which was, according to Paul (as well as Counterpunch and Chavez himself), reportedly assisted by the CIA. Paul says Iran is beginning to make the same demands, and rumors of war with that country are already in the news.

Another thought that keeps occurring to me is that we are headed for a new paradigm in terms of global unification of our currencies. This week’s meeting of the Security and Prosperity Partnership in Montebello, Canada, based on the CSIS report on plans for the North American Union, should be a major heads-up to those who don’t already know about the Amero; this YouTube clip from CNBC says it all. It’s coming. And again, the timing should not be ignored. What better way to introduce the idea of a new, unified currency that could compete with the Euro, than allow our dollar to collapse in plain view, to the horror of the average consumer? Take note that protests against the meeting will not be allowed, they are meeting in total secrecy and seclusion a la Bilderburg, which also met there in 1983, and they even plan a 25 kilometer security radius to avoid such threats. Attending along with Presidents Bush, Calderon of Mexico, and Prime Minister Harper of Canada, will be several members of the CSIS who are also members of Bilderburg, the Trilateral Commission, and the CFR, including Kissinger, David Rockefeller, and Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Oh, yeah. Those guys.

On the other hand, I do believe many people will be able to determine without much difficulty some of the likely events that are to come. It doesn’t take a psychic to see there will probably be another really big, terrible “terrorist” attack sometime in the near future. All you have to do is read the news.

It’s also pretty clear we are being groomed for world government. Right now, fear is being used to great advantage towards that goal. However, and unfortunately, so is love and what people see as “doing the right thing”. For example, some believe environmental issues are one way to manipulate us into accepting world government. I mentioned in a past post that immigration is noted by some as a machination for the North American Union, which is one stop closer to world government. After watching some of Michael Moore’s new Sicko, I realized with at start that the health care issue will likely be another turning point in that debate. Clever, they are.

At some point, we will be so fatigued from war, terrorist threats, economic hardship, weather-related disasters, hunger, poverty and whatever other such things you can think of, that the world will begin to clamor for a strong world union that will make all those issues as well as health care, environmental pollution and even religious division a thing of the past. The EU is quite far along on this path, and North America, Asia and Africa are close behind. I know; it sounds good, but if you don’t think all of those things and more have been a result of the machinations of the world’s elite for decades and even centuries (and that the roots are based in suspicious religious symbology) in order to fulfill their goal of ultimate power, you have a lot of reading to do. It’s not secret any longer; it’s just not discussed every night on CNN. I pay attention when people like Bob Woodward warn us about the “secret government.” They are hard at work immantentizing the eschaton.

The hardest part will be, the new order won’t seem bad. In fact it will seem the very essence of love, peace and harmony. The elites will most likely sacrifice many of their own organizations in order to fulfill this part of their plan. And many others are already being formed in the name of saving the planet. It will be easy to manipulate the masses with such a scam, especially if they are weary, hungry and sick – or even devastated by a worldwide catastrophe like nuclear war or a polar shift. In such a scenario, many who are against microchipping now will cave and take the mark. And you don’t have to be a believer in the book of Revelation to be suspicious of that.

By that time I, and many others like me, will likely be erased from the Internet. That is why I feel it’s important to pass on these thoughts now. I’m not claiming to be a prophet or setting any dates; I’m only saying what I think many others could see too, simply if they read history and today’s headlines. I can’t say how many years it will take. 2012 casts a big shadow, but I’m not putting my money there or anywhere. When I search my spirit, though, I am warned that time is very short. This will be dealt with in our generation. The agenda is gaining momentum, and personally I give it only a few years, if that.

I’m not sure why I feel so moved to warn that these things may happen. I feel if I can do anything besides, it would be to provide moral support, because no matter what happens, it will still be all good. Though I deny my insights are any deeper or greater than anyone else’s, nor can I prove it to anyone, I will share that I have had personal experiences that have led me to Know that we are destined for a bright and wonderful future where these powers-that-be don’t exist. Just keep walking and Know, this too will pass. Meanwhile keep Surfing the Tao. Live in love, but pay attention. Have no fear, but don’t wallow in ignorance. Prepare and protect your loved ones. Simply Knowing these things will set us free in a way we cannot even begin to imagine right now.

Voegelin used the term in reference to what he saw as a Gnostic influence on modern politics. He recognized various political movements, particularly communism and Nazism, were set forth by an elite group of people who believed they possessed special, secret knowledge and even attempted to ‘create heaven on earth’ – or immanent-ize the eschaton. A grab for power based on totalitarianism and social alienation, as he saw it.

End Times scenarios are scattered liberally across our cultural landscape. Are we simply reacting to a growing sense of unease in our Orwellian nightmare, or is our subconscious trying to tell us something? 2012 and the end of the Mayan calendar cycle has brought other prophecies, Earth-shattering weapons technologies and astronomical warnings to the forefront. I devote a chapter in my book to such concepts, because I find them all strangely synchronistic. Aside from galactic alignment, devastating solar flares and the possibility of Planet X making its swing by our solar system and hastening a polar shift, our own weapons technologies are perhaps among the scariest to fathom. From Tom Beardon’s Fer-de-Lance, “If significant scalar effects are produced on Earth in a ‘pulse’ mode…the coupled resonant response from the Sun could be disastrous. The simplest Doomsday simulation would be for a violent expulsion of solar electromagnetic energy and particles…In that case, the fiery destruction of the Earth, strongly indicative of Biblical prophecy, would result. Particularly sensitive are the resonances of Sun-Earth, Sun-Moon and Earth-Moon systems.” Interesting to note the recurrence of such a fiery doomsday in over a dozen books of the Bible, the Koran, Zoroastrian scripture, Native American prophecy, and others. If such weaponry were the cause of our ultimate destruction, I would say someone has indeed done a very good job immanentizing the eschaton. Tesla would be mortified.

And there are other prophecies to be aware of. Christian End Times prophecy predicts Israel becoming a nation again and Hebrew returning as a spoken language; we take this for granted now, but this might have seemed impossible to our grandparents in their youth. Another prophecy involves rebuilding Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem, which is tricky since the Temple Mount is currently occupied by the Muslim Dome of the Rock. But you can be sure, there are groups ready with the blueprints. Also the rise of a great peacemaker/Anti-Christ figure; popular nominees include Maitreya (and more recently, Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda) who will unite the world in one government and one religion. Back to Herr Voegelin and the Powers-That-Be; some point to certain US foreign and internal policies as being generated by the “New World Order”, the as-of-yet unrealized goal (?) of the world’s leading politicians and businessmen. I touch on this in my book too – make Machiavelli proud; manipulate the masses into misery and chaos, then offer to fix it. They’ll never know the difference. Fnord.

Lao Tzu wrote, “The master observes the world, but trusts his inner vision.” From my book, “Be aware of these forces, but never give in to fear. The battle is not fought in the outer world, but in our minds and spirits…Learn to create a new reality in harmony with the Tao. Just by changing our minds, we can change the world.” Whatever happens, this is the Way to peace. It’s Surfing the Tao. Immanentize the Eschaton? Bring it on, I’m ready!

The End of the World As We Knew It

The world we knew ended long ago.

Didn’t we know a place of peace before?

Perhaps it was only a dream.

Our planet suffers now
