Throughout history many people have named dates for the apocalypse. So far, only ridicule and derision have been successfully predicted on such days, as these proverbial boys cry out about nonexistent wolves to a few townspeople. However, the Mayan calendar may put all those others to shame for the sheer number of minds focused on this date around the world. Some say that calendar ends mysteriously on our equivalent of December 21, 2012. Internet searches now bring up millions of results on these topics, major motion pictures have tantalized multitudes, and perhaps billions will be holding their breath that day if we haven’t already been annihilated by then. So welcome to 2012. It should be a banner year regardless with all that energy behind it.

My mission from the beginning of Surfing the Tao years ago has been to prepare hearts, minds and spirits for a great change to the world as we know it now, coming in our lifetime. Just take a look around – it’s already happening, one could argue. Warnings are everywhere, in what is being said as well as in what is not being said. Though I personally don’t expect something earth-shattering to happen next December 21 exactly, remember that in the end the wolf did indeed destroy the flock. We may not know the hour or the day, but we can know the season. And I do believe we are in that season.

So be ready, and don’t let anything surprise you. Don’t be surprised if something earth-shattering does happen that day, or months before or years after. Don’t be surprised if a tremendous earthquake and tsunami – and subsequent nuclear disaster – hit somewhere in the US. Don’t be surprised if a massive solar flare fries global power grids for years to come. Don’t be surprised if Iran, China, North Korea or some other rogue nation hit us with EMPs or nukes. Don’t be surprised if erupting volcanoes shut down global air traffic for months. Don’t be surprised if a deadly virus infects and kills millions. Don’t be surprised if the world’s economies crash and our dollar is worth only the paper it’s printed on. Don’t be surprised if the moon crumbles and falls to Earth in a million pieces. Don’t be surprised to see a swarming army of red demons flying out of the skies, false Messiahs broadcasting on our airwaves, UFOs landing on the White House lawn or plague-ridden zombies shuffling down your street.

But also don’t be surprised if next New Years, millions of people ring in 2013 with a lot of pointing and laughing. If you’re one of the preppers who is convinced that 2012 holds something special, be prepared for the idea that this is not the year. And if it isn’t, don’t stop your preparations. It may be the oldest trick in the book.

This is why I write about so many of these alternative topics instead of what people might imagine they would find in a place called Surfing the Tao – I was warned to expect as much, and also taught how to ride such a seemingly unpredictable and monstrous wave, spiritually and psychologically. As I was led from one piece of the puzzle to the other and the shock became numbing, I was also being taught to “let go” and allow things be as they are, no matter how horrible they seemed to my small human brain. That there was a larger plan at work, that we are not alone in more ways than one, and that things were going to be ok – in fact not just ok, but incredibly wonderful. Just that there were some hard bits to get through first. That destruction can be a pathway to creation.

“Letting go” is not an easy concept for most westerners, especially when one is guided to be prepared at the same time. That irony is part of the Taoist side of it I suppose, though I’ve heard Christians use the “let go, let God” thing too so there must be something deeper there. Many might be surprised, as I talk about the Tao, that I will say how important Jesus is to it all. Not worldly religion, mind you – the Dude Himself. He is a crucial part of the Tao, and our story. Because as long as you’re listening and paying attention – in other words, participating as a loving God would guide – then you can easily catch the wave, no matter how monstrous it seems to be, or how many sharks are circling. You can’t control it, but you can navigate it, and love is the key. If you continuously lose balance with selfishness, greed, fear, anger, etc., you will crash and burn. But I’m no evangelist. I have yet to find any earthly organization with 100% truth in word and deed. They’ve all warped over time, been misunderstood, abused, mistranslated and even infiltrated and intentionally misinformed. Even some modern Taoist interpretations, for that matter. It just happened that I found the simplicity of ancient Chinese wisdom to be a relatively unadulterated spiritual tool as I researched things like flying saucers and angels and secret brotherhoods and ancient aliens and mysterious megaliths and various other topics you won’t find on CNN or in traditional interpretations of the Bible. Christ the Eternal Tao is one of my favorite books.

During the past decade, many, many others have begun waking up to alternative interpretations of our reality and by now, much of what I’ve written about is common knowledge amongst a certain group of people. Unfortunately, a much wider spectrum of our population still knows nothing of these topics, and smirk and pish-posh as they turn their attention back to their smart phones. For example, some people talk about a people’s revolution in the works – but just take a look around. Whatever you may say about the Occupy Wall Street movement these last few months, whether Illuminati-funded or truly grassroots, when we hear that record numbers of people waited hours in line this holiday season and even physically attacked each other for the chance to spend more of the fake money printed by our criminal banksters for more useless stuff sold pretty much by those same criminals – well, *sigh*. So it goes.

I can therefore assure you that if you are still reading this and have had preparations for something earth-shattering cross your mind, you will probably be one of the relative few, though those numbers are rising. 2011 experienced more disaster than any previously recorded year. And check the news, it’s not over yet – hurricane force winds, massive storms, tornadoes, floods, landslides, sinkholes, earthquakes, volcanoes, mass unexplained animal deaths, even a potential China Syndrome in Japan. You name it, it’s happening. Heck, if we can have a 5.5 earthquake on our east coast of all places, I think really anything could happen, anywhere, anytime. I could go on for pages about what could be WWIII has been brewing for quite awhile, and isn’t getting any less likely. Economic crises around the world threaten stock markets, currencies, jobs; hungry and homeless people are lining up at soup kitchens more and more here in the US while foreclosed homes sit empty…it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, though the talking heads on the “news” continue slogging their propaganda to keep us hypnotized and none the wiser. And don’t forget about all the strange happenings in the skies: rumored deadly asteroids, meteors, falling satellites, second suns, HAARP signatures, chemtrails, UFO sightings and more and more entertainment programming about visitors from other worlds whether friend or foe, and apocalyptic scenarios. Disclosure, at least on their terms, may indeed be in progress, and Planet X may actually be around the corner.

It might be easier to sit in our bubbles and call this kind of talk fear-mongering, but pay attention to what the elites are up to. Personally, it all makes my hackles go up. The secrets behind closed doors, secret underground bases, secret technology, secret science and secret history make up the base of an enormous iceberg of which we can only see a tiny tip. We may know some of the puzzle pieces, but there are many, many more. It’s an ongoing and for now, often disturbing project, one I hope to complete in joy, and in peace, once the hard times are past – because, regardless of the difficulties we surely still must face, there will be a happy ending. Like I said – it’s a bit like surfing, and does require faith, balance and love, in some measure. And, we are not alone – in the good Way. I can’t prove that though, I can only pass it along to those with ears to hear.

Could be that the Mayans were actually trying to tell us something, and that even our scientists were right as to the actual day in translation. Or perhaps their calendar-maker just got tired. It’s also possible the dates could be a bit off. Days, weeks, months, even years. Could be sooner, or later. Point is – if you’re still here reading this, it’s time to get ready, because you, like me and others, sense more is coming, Mayans or no Mayans. Things will change – are changing – historically, devastatingly, and also, finally, beautifully. But perhaps not on any date you might expect.

I anticipate a series of events, in fact it is my belief that they have already started and that we are indeed in the season. It would be my suggestion not to wait for December to prepare, or lose faith if it comes and goes. The wolves are elusive, but that doesn’t mean they’re not out there. Build up your resources now. Wax your boards so you won’t fall off riding that swell. Make a plan as best you can, and don’t wait. But also realize there is no way you, I or anyone can perfectly anticipate exactly how, if, when or where things may happen. Be emotionally prepared for that too.

So welcome, again, to 2012. I’d like to simply blithely wish everyone Happy New Year and move along; I hope that there really isn’t any wolf this time either. But in my heart, I know I would regret not saying one more time…be prepared in your home and in your heart, for anything, everything…or for nothing at all this year.

Global Weirding Update: Surf’s Up

Floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, radar anomalies, landocanes, Comet Elenin, Gulf/Jet Stream anomalies, UFOs, December 2011 Mayan end date, zombies, and more.

If we really were surfing a swiftly tilting planet, I’d say the waves are looming large. Since my last post in January, we’ve witnessed the horrific earthquake, tsunami and ongoing nuclear meltdown in Japan, historic ongoing flooding along the Mississippi, the northern US, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Africa to mention a few, severe ongoing drought and wildfires in Texas, Europe, China and Africa, and another deadly earthquake, this time in Spain. Bizarre cracks, fissures, sinkholes, sinking islands, and landslides are appearing in various places around the globe. More volcanoes erupted including another one in Iceland, again disrupting air travel. Unexplained bird and fish deaths are still happening all over the place. Tonight, news of 100 mph winds in Scotland. Australian television aired “100 days of Disaster” awhile ago about 2011 so far – pretty incredible, but it needs an update already.

Ok, maybe this kind of thing is “cyclical” but then I think it must be a very, very, very big cycle. How about 12,900 years? Science has no way to compare this kind of historical data, in my opinion. Obviously the mainstream will continue to refuse to publicize anything other than “normality” but even a climate scientist quoted in Scientific American said, “It’s a new normal and I really do think that global weirding is the best way to describe what we’re seeing.” Really?

An article from May 13 was titled, Tornadoes, floods and blizzards… U.S. is hit by a record FIVE billion-dollar weather disasters in 2011 (and it’s only May). Wonder what it is now after the unbelievable tornado storm that has hit so many US states this past week. There was even a “rare” tornado in California yesterday. As I’m writing this, there is a tornado warning in Vermont. Dr. Greg Forbes from the Weather Channel actually called the system “rare” on the air and added that we don’t normally see a supercell formation 40,000 feet high with large hail and tornadoes in Vermont. Ya think? The other night on CNN, the meteorologist pointed out the powerful counter-clockwise moving storm system that caused the week of mayhem and said it almost looked like a hurricane. In fact it did; some Youtubers and bloggers have been pointing out this “landocane” or “landicane” all week – and I found, it’s not the first time. Back in October, this new term even found its way onto mainstream news sites during that giant storm. It reminds me of a video I watched recently of a talk by former Special Forces officer John Moore, who claims to have been privy to some secret government warnings from back in the ’70s about a violent, catastrophic global shift that is to come – soon. Very soon. He’s in his sixties, and he was told it would be in his lifetime, not his kids or grandkids. In that video, he said that one of the warnings he was told to look for was hurricanes forming over land. It makes me think of The Coming Global Superstorm or The Day After Tomorrow.

As I watch the weather radars, and there are plenty of radars to watch on the Internet, it’s hard not to notice strange ring signatures, beams and other anomalies appearing ahead of the storm tracks. (Radars to watch: here, here, here, here and here for a few to start you off. Please leave links to others you find.) For instance, check out this incredible video from today over Kansas. Is it HAARP? No one knows for sure. Youtubers Dutchsinse, Patrioticspace, WaronErrorDKos, Rvermill47 and many others are continually watching and updating on these and other notable details such as radiation and chemtrails which the mainstream is not talking about. In fact as I was writing this, Dutchsinse uploaded a new video letting us know that someone alerted their Congressman about these apparent weather modification anomalies. We’d like to think – great, maybe someone will do something about it but – likely as not, we will never hear any reply. If we do, I’ll let you know (follow me on Twitter). Poor Dutch has already been harassed and threatened, had family members threatened for his work by someone claiming to work for DARPA if memory serves, and I think he had to call the FBI. It’s scary to think if you’re making note of such things you might be putting your life – and your family’s lives – on the line. Here is an article about Dutch and what he’s been doing in terms of getting the word out. A St. Louis local news station even did a spot on his independent radiation testing recently as well.

I also happened to notice this strange happening on Lake Washington a little while ago, which nagged at me for a few days until I remembered the X-Band sea-based radar had just arrived in Seattle the night before. A pretty powerful piece of machinery I wrote about back in 2008; who knows what all it really does. In that vein, I also happened across this Youtuber following the track of the super-secret X37B and the coincidence of earthquakes in its wake. Plenty of people are also still waiting for The Big One to hit the US; the New Madrid seismic zone is likely under enormous pressure with the weight of all that flood water there now. And we haven’t even started hurricane season yet.

Last year an Italian scientist, Dr. Gianluigi Zangari, released a paper that the Gulf Stream has broken – at the time it was thought it was due to the BP oil spill in the Gulf. I can’t find the original paper; the link is broken (which seems appropriate somehow). But here is one detailed explanation. Of course that influences the Jet stream and we can all see how that has been very unusual the past few months, if not longer. Dutchsinse posted this video in December 2010, noting how the weather systems were moving backwards. And it is still happening. Do your own research, and watch the radars. The Weather Channel certainly isn’t boring anymore. It’s all really very interesting; the frustrating part is, we can speculate all we want, but we may never know what is really going on. Planet X? Weather wars? HAARP? False flag? Climate change? Are the powers-that-be trying to keep a catastrophe from happening, or the opposite? Maybe it doesn’t really matter. We need to be prepared regardless. Obviously, the results are disastrous anyway.

Comet Elenin has been in the underground news quite a lot as well. Some believe it’s not a comet at all, but a brown dwarf star (Planet X?) which makes a regular swing through our galactic neighborhood every few millennia. It would explain why it is so difficult to see even through telescopes, as it is very cold (but if we start seeing two suns this summer, something in the news as I wrote my last post, heads up). This video is quite startling, as it points out the last few megaquakes (Chili, New Zealand and Japan) were on days of Elenin’s alignment with the Earth. Recently, a scientific paper from the European Royal Society was published that also mentioned Elenin in regards to earthquakes and celestial alignments. Apparently its effects are not insignificant (including, I might posit, the weather). And there are further alignments coming as the “comet” is getting closer – later this year, in late September through October, it will be extremely close – in fact some people think that around September 26-27, it could cause a pole shift here on Earth. In October/November the earth will be in its tail, which is also not good. Here is another very informative video on what could be coming later this year. Please take the time to watch these and inform yourself, whatever you tend to believe. Last October, the White House released a memorandum regarding preparations for a near-earth object collision. That in itself is pretty noteworthy. There has also been rumor that due to unexpected course changes in the comet’s trajectory and strange unidentified clusters following the comet, a Chinese scientist believes it may be guided by intelligent forces, i.e., UFOs. Something to pay attention to in terms of Sitchin’s Nibiru. And don’t forget about the sun; it’s 11-year cycle peaks in 2012, and we are still getting warnings of “potentially devastating effects” from official sources. Keep an eye on it. Spaceweather, SOHO, and SolarWatcher are recommended sites.

I thought it quite interesting to find this video clip of an old In Search Of episode from 1978 stating the Mayan calendar end date was December 24, 2011 – not December 21, 2012. If you read more of my blog you’ll see I’m not one for setting dates but, just found it worth noting. What if 2012 was a red herring, and we were all left woefully unprepared?

So, please be prepared for anything, anytime. I’ve read quite a few articles recently about demand for bunkers, shelters and dried emergency food going through the roof this year. Some companies are even running out of supplies. People are prepping. It’s a good thing. If you’ve been putting it off, do it NOW. Put some emergency gear in your car – extra water, food bars, first aid, flashlight, radio, jacket and walking shoes – really, girlfriends, please have a change of shoes in your trunk if you wear high heels. Have a whistle to call for help just in case. Have extra supplies at home too. A few months of food, and a water filter or two, wouldn’t be a bad idea; we might be prepared for food shortages and economic catastrophe as well that way, if nothing else happens. Have a place to go if the worst seems to be coming to your door. Have an emergency plan with family or friends. And think about self defense. Even the CDC warned about zombies. But really. Protect yourselves from whatever.

Standing outside tonight, waiting for my dogs to pee and watching the glittering Kona night sky, I did a double take at a star moving in the southeastern sky. I watched it for about a minute….it was very bright, moving relatively quickly, but not so fast as a shooting star, and had no tail; it had a downward sloping arc, and as it moved it faded out into the black. Satellite?

As I have repeated again and again – this information is not posted to create fear. There is already enough of that out there. And I would be pleased as punch if the next couple of years went by without another catastrophe. But I don’t think so. And being aware and prepared is the best way to avoid panic. Knowledge is power. Please find some time to center on what is most important to our existence on this planet – love, and compassion. Lean on your higher power, your loved ones and your own Knowing of what is right and true. Remember that destruction is an opportunity for creation. Discernment is an opportunity for growth. To move forward, we must, indeed we really must, work together, peaceably, and in harmony. I will be writing more about this soon.

My last post, Spirals, Stargates, and Suspicious Sneaky-A** Strangeness, is dated exactly one year ago today, I just happened to notice. And it still pretty much says what I’ve been thinking the past 12 months. 2010 saw plenty of calamity, from earthquakes and storms, to oil spills and economic and political malfunction. 2011 has already given us a continuous stream of unusual news that may or may not portend some great changes are in store for our near future. But the task of connecting the dots, of putting together the puzzle of headlines into a complete understanding of what is really happening, is challenging. Can you see the fnord in the empty spaces between all these memes? Everything is connected in some way, of course, but are these various unusual news items part of a larger scenario, the whole truth of which we are not completely aware?

The 2012 Mayan calendar end date has had many talking not just about Apocalyptic scenarios, but a shift in consciousness, and I do believe this is already beginning to happen – at least for those paying attention. Despite my unwillingness to jump on the bandwagon of setting dates for an Apocalypse, I don’t completely disregard them either. Sometimes the force of so many psyches focused so intensely can make things happen. So I just want to reiterate that my work has always been about increasing awareness, so that when and if big changes do happen, people won’t be caught off guard. If we were prepared spiritually, psychologically, emotionally and even physically for whatever comes, there should be absolutely no need for fear or panic. And we should all be doing what we can anyway to make our world a better place, and our lives more harmonious. Going local, working together and treating each other with kindness and compassion is a great place to start, no matter where you are or how much money you have, apocalypse or no apocalypse.

Unfortunately it is clear that there will still be some very hard times for many people around the world. These days all you have to do is read the news or even look outside your door to see bizarre headlines, strange weather, unprecedented disasters or hear neighbors screaming political self-righteousness at each other. The world is koyaanisqatsi, in more ways than one, and it could get worse before it gets better. Be ready for change, pay attention, and tune in your personal discernment to determine what it could all mean, both to you and in the larger scheme. Here are some of the things I’m paying attention to.

Nearly two years ago I wrote the post 2012: A Perfect Storm? In it, I outlined some of the concerns about the 2012 solar maximum, about which we are still being warned. As far back as 2006, NASA issued an official warning that 2012 would also be “the most intense solar maximum in fifty years”. In 2010, we were again given “dire warnings” both from the U.S. and the U.K. that solar flares (or nuclear or electromagnetic attacks) could disrupt power and communications for months or even years. It’s been unusually quiet the past few years. Does that mean we’re in the set-up for a really gigantic storm, timed just right about when the Mayans might have said it would? The fact that scientists are out there warning us about this is good reason to read up on our sun, and pay attention to the news about it. To check on the sun’s daily activity, you can go to SpaceWeather.com or this site, used by ham radio operators.

A related topic also in the news is the earth’s magnetic field, which is created by currents in the earth’s core. The poles – not the geographic north and south pole, but the magnetic poles – are moving more quickly than they have been since we started recording their locations in 1590. National Geographic has been covering the story for the past few years: in 2004, Earth’s Magnetic Field is Fading (the disaster movie The Core picked up on this, check it out). In 2008, their article Earth’s Core, Magnetic Field Changing Fast is notable because one of the geophysicists was quoted as saying, “What is so surprising is that rapid, almost sudden, changes take place in the Earth’s magnetic field.” And then in 2009, North Magnetic Pole Moving Due to Core Flux. So when you see mainstream headlines early this year talking about the speeding up of this magnetic shift, so much so that at least one airport has had to redraw its runways and controversial Zodiac sign changes and the (re?) addition of Ophiuchus had many people regretting their tattoos, it’s time to perk up. Some suggest we are indeed in the midst of a magnetic polar reversal, which may or may not be part of a process that culminates in a final, sudden and potentially calamitous global event. Mainstream science insists these changes takes hundreds or thousands of years to complete, but we also know there have been at least a few sudden, worldwide extinctions. This site will start to explain some of the alternative sources which may lead us to consider the possibility of a more abrupt and drastic event. You might also be interested to read up on controversial cataclysmic [geographic] pole shift theories.

A telling indicator of magnetic changes is our earth’s magnetosphere, which is created when the earth’s magnetic field interacts with charged particles, such as the solar wind. It protects the earth from deadly solar radiation and without it, life on our planet would not be possible. Normally it is shaped like a teardrop, with the tail end blowing away from the sun. During times of polar reversals, it gets tangled and twisted. I found a site which posts real-time simulated images of the Earth’s magnetosphere. When you look at a video of recent images, it does look like it is twisting and tangling, which scientists say is a sign that a reversal could be underway. It reminds me of a few past articles, including Giant Breach in Earth’s Magnetic Field Discovered. Also, remember the Danish study from 2009 which concluded that the earth’s magnetic field impacts our climate.

Are the magnetic field changes related to the other unusual news, the sudden and unexplained deaths of thousands of birds, fish and other animals continuing to happen worldwide? Maybe. But seems to me they might then just get lost – not die from “massive trauma”. Other speculations have included some sort of man made electromagnetic cause for this “aflockalypse”. If you don’t know about HAARP yet, it might be time to go down that rabbit hole. It’s a giant ionospheric heater, which the government claims is a harmless academic project, but others suspect has scary military applications and potentially dangerous effects on our planet. There are rumored to be HAARP installations in many of the areas where these unexplained animal deaths are occurring worldwide, including Arkansas, which also happens to be on the New Madrid faultline. In 1811, almost exactly 200 years ago, there were several huge earthquakes there in the mid-section of the U.S., and scientists believe it could happen again any time. Mike over at Patrioticspace points out on this video that an upcoming FEMA training drill (NLE 2011) is being planned for that area this coming May to prepare for such an event. Over the years there has been suspicion about the “coincidences” surrounding the timing of FEMA’s (and other governments) “drills” and subsequent disasters – 9/11, Katrina, the Haiti earthquake and 7/7, for some examples. Seems like they just happen to be there when stuff happens, which is strange in itself. So some people – including Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez by the way – believe that our government, and perhaps others as well, is deliberately causing some of these events using technologies like HAARP. It’s also possible they are using such technologies to try to prevent something big they know is coming. (By the way, talk about unexplained – ever heard of the Dyatlov Pass incident? Wonder what Tesla might say about all this…)

Either way it’s probably not good to be fooling with Mother Nature, especially on a scale involving the earth’s ionosphere. Many have likely already seen the article published in 1998 by the Russian scientist Dr. Alexey N. Dmitriev called Planetophysical State Of The Earth And Life which talks about the Earth’s ongoing magnetic changes being irreversible. In it he mentions man-made effects, “Earth’s ability to adapt to these external actions and transferences is aggravated, made more difficult, by the technogeneous alterations we have made to the natural quality or state of our geological-geophysical environment. Our planet Earth is now in the process of a dramatic transformation by altering the electromagnetic skeleton through a shift of the geomagnetic field poles…”

It’s not clear which technogeneous effects he is referring to, but when you’re talking about magnetic fields, HAARP sure comes to mind. Even if they accidentally caused all those birds to die trying to prevent the huge earthquake there we all know is coming one of these days, would they tell the public? Probably not. By the way, in investigating the New Madrid earthquake potential I came across this FEMA procurement site post from January 20, 2011, “The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for meals in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations…All meals/kits must have 36 months of remaining shelf life upon delivery.“ Why would they requisition that much food if NLE 2011 is only a drill? Patrioticspace has a great update on all of this that is worth watching, and he suspects the geophysical instability in the region could have been made worse by last year’s Gulf oil spill/drill. In coordination with NLE 2011, the authorities are also planning “The Great Central U.S. Shake Out” to help citizens get prepare for earthquakes. So if you live in the New Madrid seismic zone (or any earthquake zone for that matter), you might want to get your earthquake kit ready, just in case.

Then there’s the weird debate lately that something seems wrong with the moon, that it has tilted. Not really sure about that one but it seems to fit with the general sense that things seem out of balance. Searing summers and frigid winters break records every year, gigantic earthquakes kill hundreds of thousands, and unbelievable floods and storms all over the world round it all out to the extent that many people are not even shocked or surprised by natural disasters anymore, even though 2010 was the worst year yet. Disaster has become the status quo – that is perhaps until ARkstorm, for which by the way they are also planning a disaster training drill.

Another strange item to consider is the report that the sun rose two days early in Greenland this year – on 1/11/11, instead of 1/13/11 as expected. A little more investigation revealed some controversy there. Mainstream science, as in this article, says this is impossible, because it would mean the earth-sun orbital parameters have changed and they insist, this has not happened. But in the linked article, Ice Ages Blamed on Tilting Earth, we learn that the tilt, or wobble, of our planet has changed throughout the ages. A little more investigation reveals that the earthquake/tsunami of 2004 actually changed the planet’s shape, and shaved a few microseconds off our day. The earthquake in Chile altered our earth’s rotation, and took a few more tiny moments from us. So, official data notwithstanding, it might not be that far off to imagine, something could change, has changed, or is even changing rapidly, with our earth, it’s magnetic field, rotation and/or tilt.

The world’s volcanoes are getting busier and busier as well. Last year Der Spiegel published an article warning of an impending mega-eruption of Indonesia’s Mount Merapi. Recently another disconcerting piece of news about the Yellowstone supervolcano bulging, as the magma chamber there continues to swell. When physicist Michio Kaku is out and about talking about pending catastrophes, as he has done before warning about monster solar storms, I pay attention; recently he discussed massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions which could destroy any one of several major cities in the near future. Even more recently, here he is talking specifically about the recent bulge at Yellowstone. Interesting timing.

Does any of this have to do with “Planet X” (which I actually believe, if it exists, is not a planet but actually a star, perhaps even a companion to our sun)? You can find all kinds of information on the ancient myth and lore of this enigmatic “lost” star or planet and the destruction it brings as it swings through our solar system, though it is not accepted by mainstream science, at least as far as we know. But let’s face it – would you tell 6 billion people that the earth was about to be rocked upside down overnight a week from Thursday? Probably not. So, just because it’s debunked and ignored by the mainstream doesn’t mean that a large perturber blowing by every few millennia isn’t the reason for all the magnetic weirdness, earthquakes and volcanoes. Every now and then I come across articles that ring a bell for Planet X. Giant Stealth Planet May Explain Rain of Comets from Solar System’s Edge is not comforting news in light of the huge meteorites seen around the world lately. How about this one, “A new set of all-sky maps from NASA’s Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) shows that conditions at the edge of our Solar System are more dynamic than first thought.” Ya think?

Knowing this, I definitely perked up when I heard in the mainstream news that we could be seeing what look like two suns in our skies for a while, if the red giant Betelgeuse goes supernova. But even though shock-value headlines declare this as a possibility by 2012, perhaps feeding into the Mayan calendar end date hysteria, in reality it could happen anytime in the next thousand(s) years, which led some to suggest it could be a cover story for Planet X. Space.com (and others) pretty much debunked the idea that Betelgeuse would go supernova anytime soon, true or not. So it is interesting that some mainstream sources seemed happy enough to run with the story again even though it already kinda made news and was also debunked a few months ago as a result of a discussion on a forum. Maybe someone out there knows what’s really going on, and wants to give us an “acceptable” explanation for something that might cause worldwide panic otherwise, and this seemed like a pretty good one. Or, maybe we really do have something to worry about – here is a scary take on it at Rense from back in 2009.

Or, maybe they’re just creating buzz for Beetlejuice II.

Betelgeuse, one of the brightest stars we know of, is a red giant in Orion, which is notable in terms of Planet X theories because the lore warns about seeing a red object in the sky coming from the direction of Orion. Scientists seem to have a hard time measuring both its size and distance – it seems to bulge and vary in brightness, and researchers believe “it it is likely that Betelgeuse has not always had its current motion through space and has changed course at one time or another…” So, intriguing, but certainly not a sure thing in terms of Planet X. The famous Washington Post article from 1983 quoted by many including myself in Planet X discussions did say an object in question was found in the neighborhood of Orion, but it certainly wasn’t a red giant they found. That was a brown dwarf, a type of star which is so dim its distance is difficult to establish, and even to detect in the first place. (Did you know the mythology about Orion and Ophiuchus by the way?) One other note I found interesting on Wiki, “In August Derleth’s short story “The Dweller in the Darkness” set in H.P. Lovecrafts’s Cthulhu Mythos, Betelgeuse is the home of the ‘benign’ Elder Gods.” Well how about that. Nibiru anyone? Wonder what Zecharia Sitchin would say about that if he was still around.

The idea of seeing two suns is not a new one, even aside from Star Wars mystique. I found an old thread on ATS talking about this back in 2007. I got chills when I was reminded of Share International’s press release regarding the timing of Maitreya’s appearance, “In the very near future a large, bright star will appear in the sky visible to all throughout the world – night and day.” Beetlejuice indeed. Or how about this prophetic warning from the “Blessed Mother” in 2008 about two suns? Cheery. Here is a website with a bunch of people dreaming about two suns and talking about various prophecies. Here is one of likely many Biblical takes on it. How about another completely different interpretation from Goro Adachi from back in 2000? Nostradamus of course (see top), despite the difficulty in interpretation. The Kolbrin Bible people have a lot of interesting information out. Many have filmed what they believe looks like two suns in our skies and posted on YouTube. According to this site, the Freemasons are no strangers to the two suns theme in their writings and symbologies. Andy Lloyd wrote about the two suns of the Incas in terms of his Dark Star theory. Velikovsky of course with his Worlds in Collision. And I’m sure there are many more.

So, the sun is set to be dangerously active in the next year or two, and our magnetic field is shifting so quickly, many believe we are in the middle of a polar reversal. That means the normal protection we have from the sun could be unreliable. Those two things should be considered in tandem, for it does not bode well, whether you suspect Planet X or not. But if we actually do start seeing two suns, it might be time to start connecting the dots. One other thought; if a big quake rocks the New Madrid fault, what effect might it have on Yellowstone, or vice versa?

I think the powers-that-be are perfectly aware of what could be coming. That’s why there are hundreds (or thousands) of underground corporate, government, and military bunkers all over the world, and why they are saving documents, seeds and establishing continuity of government procedures. And why we are being kept busy with the misery of political hotbeds and economic meltdown: pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. And why we’re being entertained with so many disaster movies: see, this is fiction, it couldn’t happen; or, see, you should be aware, this could happen, but we’re not going to tell you.

And it could. I found an interesting post at Montalk, who doesn’t post very often anymore either, that the mention of neutrinos in the Betelgeuse/two suns thing in the news recently might not be the good news scientists are hoping for; he suggests it could actually be a problem similar to that which was fictionalized in the movie 2012. Well, huh. Anything to do with this mystery particle? Food for thought.

With the dawn of 2011, the 2012 Mayan calendar end date looms tantalizingly – or frighteningly, depending on your perspective – within reach. Whether December 22, 2012 will be just another day, or whether we will be in the midst of global cataclysm remains to be seen (unless you’re Harold Camping, who used the Bible to predict the end of the world for October 21, 2011 – and Judgment Day for May 21, 2011, interesting if only for its confluence with the New Madrid FEMA drill).

I am not alone in my suspicions that there is a lot going on behind the scenes, veiled in secrecy as it perhaps always has been. Suspicious global cabals have been the subject of many of my own articles as well as thousands of others across the Internet and in book stores. A surprising recent article in The Economist attempted to casually “out” these organizations and call them harmless, though their too-little-too-late explanation was far less entertaining than the comments posted. I will certainly be paying attention to the ongoing revolution in the Middle East, the timing of which is also of note. Is it truly a grass-roots movement for freedom? As Americans, we naturally welcome democratization and support the people’s choice, and mourn those killed or injured in the fight for liberty. But if we are aware of the powers-that-be and their agendas, we might also not be surprised to hear this report from RT, which suggests otherwise, citing Wikileaks. Is this another move towards “totalitarian democracy” as suggested by William Engdahl? Could democracy in these Arab countries, whose public opinion is heavily anti-Israel and anti-U.S., actually lead to increased tensions? Whether the global elite stand to benefit from this at all, or whether it could blow up in everyone’s faces, remains to be seen.

We know there are things that we know, things that we don’t know, and things that we don’t know we don’t know. So, perhaps there are some who know those things that we don’t know that we don’t know, George Lucas notwithstanding. And what would they do with this knowledge? A lot of debunking for one thing. Can’t have a society of panicked people all quitting their jobs and moving to a cabin in the woods with their hunting rifles and an assortment of seeds. Civilization – I should say, their high-tech, low-love version of civilization anyway – would fade away and then they’d lose their power. And clearly if we all knew what we didn’t know we didn’t know, the powers-that-be wouldn’t be so powerful anymore. No one would fight in their wars, and we’d never need to buy gasoline or pharmaceuticals, for example.

And as many prepare for and debate the topic of disclosure, we are also bombarded with TV shows and films about alien invasion of one sort or another. Other than Wikileaks, the latest UFO rumors are that the U.S. is set to announce their ongoing relationship with extraterrestrials in a kind of E.T.-space-race with the Chinese. Or maybe “They” are here to help us deal with the chaos of this coming shift…or take advantage of it, as the case may be. Trouble is, hard for most people to distinguish truth from non truth. And sometimes people just don’t want to know. They would rather be right. For those aware of Biblical End Times prophecies which supposedly necessitate the rebuilding of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem where the Dome of the Rock currently stands, you might be interested to know that recently several videos surfaced of a strange light hovering right over the Dome on January 28, 2011. This one was pretty wild. Is it real?

If there are things we don’t know that we don’t know, maybe it’s also true that there are things that we don’t know that we do know. I believe many people are subconsciously attuned to some kind of internal messaging system. If they are listening, many of them are going back to basics, learning skills not used for generations, thinking locally and sustainably. Perhaps they are also preparing for something – perhaps they might not really know why, or for when, or if they do maybe they might not really believe anything big like that could possibly happen to them – but they do it anyway. Maybe they also are beginning to realize that our civilization can only really survive if people learn to live in harmony with each other and the planet, and that that will have to happen regardless of whether or not there is an Apocalypse. There seems to be a low, rumbling wave of change, growth and understanding rising from the ashes that have not even fallen yet.

Sometimes, unknown knowledge sits at the very root of our existence on planet Earth. Perhaps the Earth gives a little wobble now and then to remind us what we’re supposed to know.

To change the world as a Surfer of the Tao is to ride light energy and heavy energy simultaneously; as one lifts up, the other presses down, and that resistance gives us the impetus to project ourselves forward, like squeezing a watermelon pit between your fingers and shooting it.

We can use technology to learn and survive, even as it is destroying us. We can use what we don’t know to fill in the empty spaces. We can use destruction as an opportunity to create anew.

Life is not in iPods, 3D movies, video games, cell phone apps, or on television. It’s not in the way we argue, accuse, and hate. Life is not anger, cruelty and division. Life is not harshness of tone, unwillingness to forgive, intolerance, or lack of understanding. Life is not rote knowledge, or trivia.

Life is in the trees, the flowers, rocks, sky and clouds. It’s in the depths of our souls, our atoms, our breath. It’s in the way we love, smile and laugh. Life is forgiveness, compassion and service, generosity of spirit and selfless creativity. Life is the Knowledge and Appreciation of Life.

Some are finding their way back to Life. Some never left in the first place. Many have a long, long ways to go. Some will never even see there is a Way of Life.

Some easily find knowledge in a blade of grass; others must first fight and struggle their entire lives only to discover in their dying breath how simple it all really is.

Be well my friends. Be in the Know, be safe, be prepared, be open and clear.

2012: A Perfect Storm?

Much is being written about 2012 and what changes that year will bring. The Mayan calendar and various other religious and spiritual prophecies have seeped into popular culture to the extent that much of the world will be holding their breath on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 PM Universal Time, like Y2K to the umpteenth degree.

I have often been asked what I believe will happen on that day, if anything. The way I see it, it is already happening; we are already knee-deep in the preamble web of events, from which the tendrils of our future will be created. Whether as a result of ancient prophecies coming to pass, our having to finally take responsibility for the excesses of the past century, or simply the full-blown noospheric power of the expectations of millions of psyches, 2012 promises to be a banner year.

Whatever the cause, I must admit to a sense of further quickening. Terence McKenna is likely smiling knowingly from Somewhere, as the lines on the graph of his Timewave Zero theory march their way towards the 2012 zenith. I believe we are now witnessing the rapid spiraling of current crises and scenarios into some terrific opportunities for nefarious solutions by our world’s elite, not to mention the documented potential for spectacular destruction within our solar system. Whether these events will happen, much less converge exactly on that 12/21/12 date, or even within that year, I could not say for sure, but the timing is notable.

Frankly it’s coming so fast and furiously right now that I can barely keep up with it, as the same quickening seems to be happening in my own life, on smaller scale, in some kind of ironic, synchronistic testimony to the scalable unified field. I simply don’t have time to write about it as I would like, because I’m so busy living it. Perhaps we all are, in our own ways, navigating the Eschaton, whether we believe in it or not.

We are certainly being inundated with a constant banter, which perhaps attempts to instill fear, though ought to only keep us focused and alert. Economic crisis, world currency, new world order, world war, civil liberties, socialism, artificial intelligence, nonlethal weapons technology, seed banks, UFO disclosure, 2012 solar cycle, prophecies, earthquakes, volcanoes, sustainability, self-sufficiency, gardening, alternative energy, free energy, consciousness shift, revolution, evolution…truth does seem to be stranger than fiction these days.

Another resonant topic which continues to haunt me is Planet X or a binary star/sister sun theory, though I cannot provide substantial third-dimensional proof, enigmatic Vatican probes and Antarctic telescopes notwithstanding. The only shred of mainstream scientific evidence could be that our ‘global warming’ phenomenon seems to actually be happening across our solar system, not just on Earth. Polar ice continues to melt, but Jupiter’s great red storm is shrinking too. Still others say we are headed for another ice age. How about this radical take at Rense: Evidence of Solar Manipulation and Solar Changes?

What doesn’t seem to be up for debate is the fact that our Sun’s behavior can be worrisome. Many of the ancient prophecies seem to include mention of the Sun, and/or other planetary movements, such as the Mayan belief that the 2012 date indicated the end of the time of the Fourth Sun, and the beginning of the world of the Fifth Sun. In Revelation 6:12, the sun turned black after a great earthquake. Other ancient prophecies, including the Koran, the Norse Ragnarok, the Egyptian Ipuwer Papyrus, the Kolbrin Bible, North American Indian prophecy and many, many other books in the Bible warn of a future time of destruction during which the earth will burn and shake violently. I enumerated many of these in my book in the chapter, Destruction by Fire. I noted the strange recurrence of these similar warnings across time and culture. Here’s a good overview of the Mayan calendar and the solar cycles.

Strange ancient hieroglyphics, now discovered in widely diverse locations around the globe from Colorado to Yemen, Australia and South America, all seem to be referring to “some event, possibly related to the Sun, which was prophesied to change human civilization.”

Currently our Sun is in a period of extreme quiet, with the lowest sunspot activity in nearly a century of recording, the great calm before what is now expected to be a great solar storm in 2012, when the sun reaches the apex of its 11-year cycle. Due to the weakening magnetic fields around both Earth and the Sun, it is expected to be more ferocious than usual. A recent report on severe space weather and its potential economic and societal effects has been making its way into the mainstream media. One can now find various releasing hair-raising alerts in this regard, one after the other.

From the Telegraph: Scientists are expecting a more intense solar cycle this time around. Jimmy Raeder, a physicist with the University of New Hampshire, explained it is “because the Earth’s and the sun’s magnetic fields will be in sync at the cycle’s peak, expected in 2012, that will cause an influx of solar particles”.

From NASA: A Giant Breach in Earth’s Magnetic Field, “NASA’s five THEMIS spacecraft have discovered a breach in Earth’s magnetic field ten times larger than anything previously thought to exist.” At first scientists couldn’t even believe it. Themis is working to determine the severity of the expected upcoming solar storm,and the magnitude of effects it will have on our electronic grids and satellite systems.

In December of last year, from Fox News: Powerful Solar Storm Could Shut Down U.S. for Months. Another recent Fox News report with physicist Michio Kaku is frighteningly clear. WATCH IT. I am familiar with Dr. Kaku and his calm intelligence, and this seems almost outrageous coming from him. He claims he and his fellow scientists made a mistake, and that the 2012 solar cycle will be far more disastrous than previously imagined. Wow.

Here’s a real doozy of a doomsday scenario recently outlined by New Scientist: Space storm alert: 90 seconds from catastrophe. Or how about this from the Daily Mail, Solar storm could cause planetary disaster at any time, warn scientists. A Danish study has even concluded that the earth’s magnetic field is impacting our climate. All this, and CNN is still debunking 2012 as a meaningless popular culture meme? Well, which one is it??

Australia is adding a new magnetic field observatory to study the weakening field and hopefully gain warning of an imminent polar reversal. Meanwhile check Spaceweather.com for news and updates. NOAA provides current solar data, and here’s their solar activity monitor. Here is their space weather prediction center. And the seed banks continue to be made ready by 2011.

Here’s a YouTube video of Jay Weidner at the recent 2012 conference talking about the sun’s reduced heliosphere and an inundation of radiation from the center of the galaxy by 2012. The warnings, he explains, are important, but he also separates himself from the ‘gloom and doomers’ by expressing that this change could be seen as an opportunity, even if it was forced upon us.

I find myself agreeing with that. Using a pending Apocalypse as an opportunity is the essence of Surfing the Tao. Whether anything will happen in 2012 or not, current world events are forcing us to take a hard look at how we are choosing to live on this planet. There are of course many people who are too conditioned to the trees to even notice the forest, much less discern any correlations and make adequate preparations within themselves. But more people are growing vegetable gardens this year than ever, and companies are even running out of seeds. Murmurs of alternative energy solutions are louder than ever. Communities are turning inwards for solutions, as well we all should. Networks espousing such thoughtfulness, teamwork and sustainability are springing up everywhere. Whether it’s to prepare for the End of the World, or just the end of an unsustainable world of bad habits, it’s all good.

Many believe there will be a shift, whether wholly on this day or as a beginning on this date (or perhaps now already started, to be completed then) from the third to the fourth density; in other words some kind of shift in consciousness, or dimensions. Of this possibility I have also received a kind of inner confirmation, though it remains nebulous as to what, how, where, and when. People seem to have their own theories on that, to be sure. Love is key; true unselfish compassion is essential, and perhaps if we can cultivate that, the rest will come. Personally, I suggest the teachings of Jesus remain the best wisdom to follow in that department, whatever your religious or spiritual beliefs, if any.

Indeed we are very much affected by magnetic fields; would a significant change in the field give us just what we would need to reach Beyond what we think of as reality? A “perfect storm” indeed perhaps? Creation from destruction? I might like to posit one additional intuition here as well. I have always felt that this ‘shift’ might also either require, or gain a significant boost, from some sort of technology, yet to be pinpointed. I’m not sure why I think that, or what it is, just the idea of some kind of portal, stargate or even shield has continued to nag at me. Call me crazy, but I think there are a lot of puzzle pieces still out there. Just take a look at the megaliths around the world. Seems a bit too contrived to be random. Anyway just a thought.

Whether events converge to create the perfect storm in 2012, or simply give us the perfect opportunity for a positive evolution, the best advice I can give is pay attention. Be prepared, but not fearful. Keep your ear to the ground, and use your inner discernment to find the thread of truth.

Institute for Human Continuity

Have you seen the trailer for the upcoming movie 2012? It’s frighteningly twitterpating.

Recently a friend turned me on to the Institute for Human Continuity, a fantastically beautiful website chock full of information about certain doom in 2012, including Planet X, the galactic alignment, and corroborating testimony from mainstream science. That was a pretty amazing five minutes I spent wowing about that one.

Then I found out what’s really going on. Among other things, I found this YouTube video series which had some pretty interesting (if perhaps controversial) commentary on the whole thing. It’s only 15 minutes total, so if you’re into the 2012 thing I recommend watching to the end. If you find any other mentionable commentary on this, please post notes and/or links in the comments section below this post.

I must say, it does seem the Oligarchy has got the 2012 meme all tied up neatly with a bow.

By the way, I’m working on another post about 2012 which should be upcoming in the next week or so, depending on how adeptly I can Surf ‘real’ life.

Nassim Haramein: “Crossing the Event Horizon”

Recently I had the good fortune to come across a copy of Nassim Haramein‘s DVD set, “Crossing the Event Horizon.” I would highly recommend a watch to anyone looking for an excellent interpretation of concepts ranging from Unified Field Theory, fractal geometrical realities, and the torque of spacetime, to crop circles, the pyramids, ancient calendars and our place in the universe. Four DVDs span over six hours of material, much of it Nassim’s own entertaining presentation of his brainpopping theories, with some special features worth investigating. His website, The Resonance Project, also contains a lot of his research, papers and articles, a trailer of his DVD and a preview of “The Power of Spin.” You can also join in his monthly teleconference calls.

I give him credit for puzzling together his theories from hard physics, pure brainpowered revelation and no doubt plenty of inspiration from the Ether. His background is unique, and given the state of our current orthodox scientific community, which seems to progress with the speed of a glacier, the new ideas he’s brought into dialogue are refreshing and invigorating. I can only imagine what his theories could bring in terms of changing our reality – from the expansive way we understand creation and our very existence, to how we live our everyday lives. Understandable why he appears on this video which won the One Minute Shift video contest.

The double torus he talks about, based around the tetrahedral and cubeoctahedral geometric structures, is well founded in hard math, and can also be found discussed in terms of sacred geometry. There is a ringing of truth somewhere in my spirit, which may explain why it’s called The Resonance Project. The idea that creation is literally spun around in a sort of double-donut shape around a center vacuum, escaping from the center ‘white’ hole and winding around the outside to be sucked in by the other side’s black hole, simply makes sense in some profound way, particularly the additional torque or spinning motion that he postulates may provide an explanation for the movement of everything from galaxies and subatomic particles, to spacetime itself. This Coriolis Effect resultant of the gravitational and electromagnetic forces at work, when balanced creates a golden spiral or phi ratio. These concepts are finding their way around the noosphere in various forms and via various paths; Richard Merrick wrote a good article about these theories over at Reality Sandwich. The black hole/white hole idea is something I mentioned in my book four years ago, albeit nowhere near this level of thought; somehow it resonated with me (no pun intended), as I imagine it could be related to the ancients’ concepts of reality itself. As Nassim says, it explains why and how the Universe is both expanding and contracting at the same time. It explains where the energy is coming from. In fact it may explain the very meaning of life itself, the existence of the Universe and the enigma of the void of subatomic space. As above, so below.

After this new information began to seep in, I started to wonder what implications this would have for consciousness itself, so I wasn’t too surprised to find this radio interview. It’s clear Nassim also can’t help but realize the amazing possibility that consciousness plays an important role in the fundamental structure of spacetime. Kudos to him; though I’m sure it must be why orthodox science is not so quick to accept such new ideas. Unfortunately in orthodox science, genius is often recognized much later, but for those of us already out here on the fringe, it is a very welcome development. I keep thinking about our alignment with the galactic plane on the winter solstice in 2012, which I’ve mentioned here before, the end of the Mayan fourth sun on that date as well as our current place along the precession of the equinoxes: just now beginning to enter the Aquarian age, beginning the Great Cycle anew, and again.

Is the ancients’ concept of the Great Ages perhaps a more complete wisdom than we realize? Could our very state of consciousness be poised to transverse some integral dimensional edge along this Great Donut of Enlightenment? Are we about to enter the Event Horizon?

Time Travel Futures

“Scientists say that time travel could be a reality in just three months.”

Notwithstanding that unapologetically paradoxical statement, one cannot help but entertain vivid Dr. Who fantasies of a blue phone booth swirling and landing in the neighborhood. Is it really time?

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in CERN, Switzerland, the world’s largest particle accelerator, is set to be activated in May of this year. Scientists imagine it could reveal the shape of alternate dimensions. That is exciting enough when one considers other recent news that the Ophiuchus cluster, at the heart of our galaxy, is emitting highly energetic X-rays which has turned it into a giant particle accelerator. If our relatively tiny model is expected to reveal such powers, what could Ophiuchus bring?

Many alternate researchers like John Major Jenkins believe our alignment with the galactic plane on the winter solstice in 2012, a once-every-26,000-year-event, will somehow enable a transformation of consciousness. Could these Super X-Rays be just what the Doctor ordered in terms of opening stargates to the next dimension? Have science and spirituality come close enough for us to sense some kind of truth to that?

And if so, what should we think of the news that some Russian scientists suggest that the scientists at CERN, in their endeavor to create micro-wormholes, or ‘mini’ black holes, could instead have built the world’s first time machine? They posit that time traveling is only possible as far back as the point of creation of the first time machine. That would make 2008 “Year Zero”, and we could see visitors from the future begin to appear. With Ophiuchus in mind, the musings of the Daily Galaxy give me pause, “Even the most massive human experiment is a pale imitation of the galactic-sized particle accelerators that fire cosmic radiation at us daily, and with all that high-energy activity in the sky if techno-mutants from the year Q4099 did want to invade they wouldn’t have to hang around supercooled Genevese caverns to do it.”

Indeed. It’s quite possible we are already entertaining travelers from the future, and simply don’t know it; one need only consider the Butterfly Effect or various temporal paradoxes to understand why. Posthuman Blues had this to say about the mainstream skepticism of time travel, “Stephen Hawking has used the same argument. If time travel is possible, he maintains, we should see a steady influx of “tourists” from our own future. This reasoning is easily as limited as the assumption that ET visitors will “land on the White House lawn” if they happen to visit.”

Some claim to have accidentally slipped through time. The Philadelphia Experiment was supposedly haunted by timeline inconsistencies, and the Montauk Project contains similar claims. Here’s another interesting article about a temporal vortex discovered by scientists in Antarctica. For more about the possibilities of time travel, watch this excellent lecture by theoretical physicist Paul Davies. The bending of space-time and the illusion of particle physics in the first place beg our attention, and that of our greatest scientific minds.

One wonders if there really will be any sort of great change on that winter solstice moment in 2012, or if we are perhaps already beginning to feel the effects of a gradual transformation, as we move closer to the alignment. Perhaps the news at CERN is no coincidence in terms of timing. We’ve grown more willing to entertain the possibility; whether in terms of science or spirituality, we are in fact energetic conduits of consciousness, and our location in the galaxy could fast-forward our readiness to explore new territory and open the door to the unknown. A Kean Eye suggests galactic ‘thought particle accelerators’ explain the recent exponential growth in science and technology; I think that sums it up quite nicely.

On the other hand, it could be the key to our undoing as well. I couldn’t help but notice that Project Camelot’s article on 2008, which mentions time travelers as well as the mind-blowing chronovisor, stated that, “According to Dan Burisch, in testimony which we regard as credible, the future humans’ best evaluation of the catastrophe which befell their ancestors (i.e. us) was that it was caused by micro-wormholes in space-time which caused effects which were inadvertently and devastatingly amplified by man-made stargates and time-portal ‘Looking Glass’ devices.” They are assured that the devices in question have been disabled, successfully averting that catastrophic timeline.

Of course one does not take Project Camelot’s words as gospel; even they caution against that. However I do pay attention when I just happen to stumble on the word “micro-wormhole” more than once on the same day. And I will continue to pay attention to the news out of Switzerland this spring. Our future is fragile enough as it is.

Love, Psycho-cryptography and the Noosphere

Lawrence Hagerty wrote in The Spirit of the Internet,“…the Internet is not the noosphere. It is merely an infrastructure that is now available for the noosphere to use.” Hagerty goes on to profess, “I believe that the Internet is serving as just such an attractor, or basin of attraction, drawing the Earth’s most creative minds into a synergistic union out of which a new form of human consciousness can arise from the wells of chaos.“

The noosphere is a term created by Jesuit priest/radical thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, whose ideas were frankly force-fed to me in college in the eighties (I happened to attend a Jesuit university where he was practically worshiped as a god). For that reason perhaps I wrongly assumed his teachings were more widespread than they actually were at the time. But I find no uncertain irony that his ideas continue to haunt my own delightfully synchronous journey towards Singularity.

Not the technological singularity of Ray Kurzweil; I’m talking more about what’s happening over at Reality Sandwich, and other important, alternative think tanks and blogs of our time. “New science” is termed thusly because, reminiscent of Capra’s intuitions of decades past, scientific discoveries are merged with new (and perhaps very old) interpretations of consciousness. This is how it should be; the Newtonian universe must ultimately be discarded in favor of the quantum discoveries that tickle our brains, easing us into new frontiers of existence, consciousness and human evolution. The homo cyber I find mentioned here and there, if left alone in the wilderness of pure artificial or mechanistic intelligence, would be the unfortunate result of not taking the final step of this process. Like refusing to take the red pill, our psyches would be left to rot inside the prison Matrix of third dimensional space-time. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy,” reminds Shakespeare.

The Internet may be Noosphere 1.0, a precursor to an enlightened state of consciousness; or perhaps, Noosphere for Beginners, or Noosphere for Dummies. Though arguably a creation of Big Brother’s sinister and eavesdropping omnipresence, the Internet is also being used, perfectly a la Tao, as a vehicle to transmit thoughts and ideas in preparation for a purely telepathic noosphere. The next several years its role will be vastly influential in terms of the global progression of consciousness, and I urge all to participate as they can until then (or until the government curtails this freedom, much as it has done with suppressing entheogens); but at some point, perhaps soon, the circuits and transistors will go the way of the covered wagon. Many of us will leave our electronic devices abandoned on the beach as we eventually look up and realize the great sea of enlightenment and oneness is before us, and go in for a dip – never to return. The key to ridding ourselves of the shackles of this reality is love, pure and simple. Love is the thing no machine can transmit; love is the unique trait, or ability, that will catapult our transformation from homo sapiens not to homo cyber, but to homo luminus.

The minds at work on the great consciousness project at this moment are alive during this time not by accident. They are all Surfing the Tao though they may not be aware of it. We are all giving what we have, and taking what we need, in some kind of post-modern, spirit-driven, psychedelic communistic mind trip, hastened by our collective visions of 2012 and beyond. Hagerty calles it entheospace; I might describe the sensation as a sort of dreamstate, finding oneself floating down a river of consciousness, gently colliding with others riding down the same stream in a kind of synchronistic, fractal pattern of atunement, as we all slip closer to the great sea.

Daniel Pinchbeck’s first book was entitled, Breaking Open the Head – which I mention here not for its particular content, which is a mind-expanding examination of the entheogenic experience, but because it so aptly illustrates my own particular state of being.

My own head cracked in college, during several misguided entheogenic experiences. I discovered Terence McKenna, but as far as spirituality goes, I was definitely a seeker who didn’t really want to spend any time looking.

This all changed in 1999. The previous fracture, which had begun to scar over, was rent asunder, and a torrent of new knowledge and higher frequencies began to stream in. I will only say: the true masters are truly hidden. And it is meant to stay that way, for now, perhaps because actual participants can often teach each other more in the beginning. But I was urged to continue meditating, and before long I had what Neil Kramer over at The Cleaver might call a fourth dimensional experience.

Without any entheogenic aid, I crossed over into the void. Suddenly, I Knew.

There are no further words for what I experienced. The language simply doesn’t exist. But it changed everything I knew, all that I was. What followed was years of reading, researching, listening, loving, meditating and change. Many of the books that appeared as if by magic I have listed here. My intellectual side was frustrated, but my spirit was at peace for the first time I can remember in my adult life. The end result of that was, I wrote a book, which was really just a cathartic expression of my overwhelmed psyche.

My own path is still guided by amazing synchronicity and coincidence. I find it startling how often I find articles written about the very subject I had been ruminating about. How I discover brilliant minds have already found answers to the questions I have been asking. How so many of our paths are beginning to converge on the Great Path. Spirituality, Taoism, 2012, eschatology, Planet X, the Matrix, conspiracy, sinister agendas, alien technology, symbology, synchromysticism, mind control, electromagnetism, alternative energy, quantum physics, plasma physics, torsion physics, entheogenic-inspired thought and conscious enlightenment, ecocentric living, — the puzzle pieces are coming together rapidly. I cannot explain how I know what I Know, yet I will say; the quickening is upon us. The noosphere is coalescing. The Puzzle of Being, and the question of consciousness, is in the process of being realized by a vast cadre of psycho-cryptographers.

The great irony is, I sense, that this enlightened, super-charged, noospheric state of being is and has always has been, here and now. This ancient Way that has been lost during our fall, over perhaps hundreds of thousands of years, is now being quickly rediscovered, picked up and dusted off as some kind of primordial reflex to protect ourselves from what we subconsciously know is coming. We are remembering, so that we will survive.

I remember Y2K. Regarding expectations for 2012, the intensity of thought, intellect, spirit, and energy now in 2008 is somewhat on par with what happened the months previous to Y2K. And we have nearly five years left. What incredible postulations, theories, discoveries, transitions, realizations, opportunities, manifestations, creations and expectations will surface between now and then?

And what will happen on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 universal time? That remains to be seen; but to prepare for either global catastrophe, psychedelic wormholes or simply more life as we know it – the only answer is, and always will be: love, peace and harmony.

Sometimes I wonder how I find what I do here online – and when I do, I wonder what else I’m missing. I’m only one person. Only one computer. Only so many hours in the day.

Planet X, the Man on Mars, and Heath Ledger

I am consistently brought back again and again to thoughts of Planet X. It seems no matter where I look these days, something or someone is reminding me of the warnings I’ve had in my own spirit now for many years, and it seems to be accelerating. Reading the Kolbrin Bible recently (ok, not all of it yet, but a lot of it) didn’t help.

Please check over at Labyrinth of the Psychonaut for more on Soundlessdawn‘s excellent new video, Cosmic Keys, Archaic Man, and The ShapeShifting Lizard Kings, which I have embedded here. He mentions the new article over at Project Camelot about a Norwegian scientist’s fright at discovering what’s really going on in those underground “seed vaults” – and why.

My friend Kingsley over at Between Both Worlds picked up on this recently as well, wondering why governments are so busy building these underground bases. I’m happy to find others sensitive to the topic and including it in their eclectic and discerning research.

On the same note I must admit feeling suspicious when many who claim to be so well-connected to certain alternative topics such as extraterrestrials, clairvoyance, channeling, and the “new consciousness” are unwilling to bring up the subject of Planet X, a polar shift or global catastrophe, or simply claim the 2012 enigma is only and ever a positive transformation. I’m not saying let’s all run around like Chicken Little; such a catastrophe could be exactly what ushers in a new consciousness for those who are prepared. In other words; the very thing that destroys, also creates, ala Shiva. The sister sun flies by more or less around the same time the 12/21/12 galactic alignment beams psychedelic energies from the “Tree of Life” at the center of the galaxy. Simultaneous? Or will the consciousness trip “save” us before, or even after if we survive, like some kind of ‘rapture’? Not sure. Perhaps be prepared for both?

It need not be something to be afraid of. And of course I’m willing to admit the whole Planet X scenario may be total crap – or even an event hundreds or thousands of years away (though I tend to think otherwise). But any responsible eso-researcher should at least discuss the issue, whether they believe it or not; there is plenty of strange evidence out there to support that, at the very least, including mysterious reports of the object in the Washington Post in 1983, secret Vatican space probes, not just global warming but the warming of our entire solar system, increased earthquakes and volcanic activity, warnings in ancient texts and even from Native Americans and certain ETs – just to name a few. Without mention of the otherwise shunned topic, I tend to be suspicious of their motives, which then seem, at least to my own personal sense of discernment, to be nothing more than eerie echoes of the dead silence from our world leaders and their cabals, comfortably ensconced in their underworld. Maybe somewhere in Paraguay, like GW. (On the other hand, let’s not forget what happened to Phil Schneider after he talked about his experience with ETs, underground bases and the gov’t.)

In May, there is scheduled a conference entitled “New Science, Consciousness & Contact” – which serendipitously is taking place right here in Kona. Whether I will go or not remains to be seen. David Wilcox is speaking, as is Dr. Elizabeth Rauscher, whose work has long been of interest to me, having quoted her work on mind control in my book published four years ago. In fact I recently discovered Dr. Rauscher is involved in another somewhat fringe yet fascinating scientific group here on the island, The Resonance Project, which I had heard of a few years ago through friends. Kind of strange how things seem to come full circle.

Did you see the crazy picture of a supposed man on Mars someone found, from a photo taken there four years ago? What do you think? I think it looks like a statue; my husband thinks it’s something akin to the Tusken Raiders.

As far as what and how to think about all of this; please check out this excellent article by Neil Kramer over at The Cleaver. Neil has managed to put a lot of powerful thoughts and concepts together that I believe will resonate with many people, particularly those who spend time researching alternative topics.

And not that you’ve missed it by now, Heath Ledger was found dead today. What went through my mind was how much his make-up as the Joker in the upcoming Batman movie (which role apparently gave him some anxiety, thanks Adam at Inside the Cosmic Cube) reminded me of Brandon Lee in The Crow, who was also 28 when he died. BTW Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin were 27 when they died just days apart in 1970. Kurt Cobain was also 27. Here’s a list of other famous people who died before age 30.

Truly well done article on the astrological forecast for 2008 over at Reality Sandwich.

Foster & Partners is building the spiraling pyramidic mega-structure called Crystal Island in Moscow. Sir Norman Foster‘s company is also responsible for the planned World Trade Center replacement, as well as various other designs all over the world which seem to incorporate very interesting geometry. Check out their various projects, especially the Spaceport America, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the EXPO Station, and the controversial Wembley Stadium in London.

Speaking of architectural geometry, they’re building solar pyramids in the UK (amid great controversy) and India…not sure why but just paying attention to uses and misuses of this powerful energetic structure…

Benjamin Fulford, the anti-Illuminati journalist, interviewed David Rockefeller last month. Watch it (full length, 38 minutes) at Google or Youtube (Part 1 of 4). Fulford seems to be in an interesting position, supported and protected by the anti-Illuminati Asian secret societies, and says to us about Rockefeller and his cronies, “These guys are finished. You will be free soon.”

Don’t get too happy yet, though. Scientists create machine that knows what you are thinking.

On that note, good to see Daniel Pinchbeck’s new article, Military Mindfields, has him thinking about HAARP and other mind control issues as per researchers like Dr. Nick Begich. Anyone researching consciousness needs to be aware of this subject matter.

The Russian military is accusing HAARP of potentially causing a polar shift/global catastrophe, among other things…

…like, maybe, Bhutto assassination by laser beam?

Pope tells astronomers to pack up their telescopes. I always wondered, why priests seem to be so involved in astronomy; on the other hand, let’s not forget the Vatican’s Siloe space probe, rumored Jesuit contact with aliens, and a supposed secret telescope in Antarctica which some claim has the only good view of Planet X, allegedly heading towards us via the South Pole. Wonder what tales of cyclical planetary destruction lurk in that private Vatican library.
